Wedding Dress ~Chen and Luhan

Chen winced as he heard Luhan shout at you. He cringed when he heard the shattering of a vase and positively wept when he heard what sounded like a slap. He had to fight against himself to not run out of his apartment and into yours, right next door. Another round of shouting but this time you were shouting too. Chen couldn't take it anymore; he grabbed his jacket and slammed the apartment door shut behind him. He walked around the block aimlessly until his thoughts became too much to bear. 

He can't be hurting her. No, I love her. She should be happy.

Chen ran back into your apartment block and knocked on your door. It was quiet on the other side and he started to worry, but you opened the door before he had to knock a second time. Your cheek was reddening from a slap and your eyes and nose were red from crying. You stared at him as he stood in front of your door. His usually perfectly styled hair was a mess from running his hand through it too often and his body tense. He looked worked up and stressed and you forced a smile on your lips.

"Chen. How are you? I haven't seen you in so long-" He didn't let you finish before he hugged you tightly. You stiffened under the touch of your ex-boyfriend, but soon the familiarity of his scent and warmth and strength weakened your resolve and you melted into his arms. 

"Is it really too late?" He suddenly whispered into the exposed skin of your neck and you stiffened once again. "I'm sorry, I just- why do you let him hurt you? You don't deserve that." He pulled away and ran his fingers across your bruised cheek lightly, but you flinched nevertheless. "See? How can he hit a beautiful face like yours? You should be treasured and I thought I couldn't do that, but now- it makes me think that what we had really was real. I'm so sorry for thinking it wasn't, but this is definitely not real. Please come away with me, Ashley. I love you, I never stopped. Please." You had started crying again half-way through and you hated yourself for it, but you couldn't stop. He suddenly pulled you into his arms again and started singing softly. 

"Baby, Listen to your heart, it won't let you down. You should be my lady! Now that we're apart, love will show how Life carries on." You recognised the song he used to sing to you at night, to help you fall asleep. "I've never felt so strong; Life can lead us to a happiness never ending. If we just know that we belong to each other, never worry, grow as we go. See you in a wedding dress. I can see you in your wedding dress." You continued to cry silently as he started swaying and you couldn't help your heart skip a beat when his lips touched your hair and he pressed a kiss to your head. 

"But- Luhan..." You had tried to make him believe that you were okay for weeks now, but had known all along that he didn't buy it. Not for a second. And now he was here and you wanted to go with him so badly. You had thought that Luhan was the better option, but the longer you stayed with him, the angrier he got. This was the first time he'd hurt you though, usually it was just verbal abuse and things flying through the apartment. Now Chen's strong arms were wrapped around you and his warmth seeped into you and made your cool skin crawl.

"I can see you in your wedding dress. Never let go, never let go." Chen sang quietly before he pulled back a little, not letting you out of the hug though.

"Please Ash. Come with me. I'll rent an apartment in another block and we can go there. Please." He mumbled and leaned down to kiss you. You could taste your tears on his lips, which made you cringe a bit but when he pulled back, you nodded. 

"Baby girl, you won't regret; Come along just take my hand." He started singing your song again, which made you laugh as you took his hand. "Let's start this journey livin' life so beautiful. This happy hope that we spread, love and see It goes deeper so deep from my heart."

Okay so it's a bit different from the video... but I just based it on the lyrics and I really wasn't feeling a sad ending.... I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted and I'm more than happy to write you another if it's too bad, okay? 

I got so confused when I wrote this, because I found about 5 different English translations, BUT (spotify is my friend) I found an English version of the song BY TAEYANG so I knew which ones were right... haha *problem solved* I nearly cried with happiness, not even joking ;) haha
