Meeting the boys for the first time

"You ready to meet them?" Niall asked you, you were both cuddling on the couch, just talking about everything that was going on at the moment. But this question was a bit out of the blue.

"Meet who?" You asked. Niall then turned so he was fully facing you "sorry i wasn't quite clear, I meant, do you want to meet the boys anytime soon? I want to show my favourite girl off to them" he smirked kissing you.

"I'd love to Niall, when?" you asked. "Ermmmmmm how about in a couple of days....Saturday?" He asked, you nodded your head "sure, Saturday sounds good."
"Good" Niall confirmed kissing your forehead.

* Saturday *

Liam was holding a little barbecue, so it was perfect timing for you to meet the boys.

"Hey Li" Niall said going in to hug Liam as he walked into his garden where the barbecue was being held.

"Hiya Niall" he responded. His eyes then landed on you, and his face turned into a brighter smile "and you must be y/n?" He asked coming over to hug you. You nodded "yeah thanks for inviting me"
"No problem. I had to meet the girl who stole my best friend's heart" he chuckled winking at Niall.

"I've got to go meet some of the other guests I'll talk to you guys later, help yourself to any of the food, treat it like it's your own home" Liam smiled then went off to talk to some other people.

"See that wasn't that bad was it, you were freaking out over nothing" Niall said kissing you on the forehead. He was right, before you two came here you were freaking out like a crazy person thinking of all the possibilities.

"You're right. I still need to meet the other 3 though....." You trailed off. "They're going to love you, I have no doubt about it" he smiled.

"NIALLLLLL HEADS UP" a voice screeched from behind Niall and then out of nowhere a ball hit his head, making Niall mutter a few curse words under his breath, to which you couldn't help but chuckle.

"Dammit sorry mate, I did warn you" Louis came jogging over to Niall, with Harry a little behind him. "It's alright you clumsy idiot, I forgive you" Niall chuckled. You just laughed at them.

Louis and Harry turned there heads towards you noticing you "so Niall....aren't you going to introduce us to your lady friend" Louis asked smugly raising his eyebrows.

Niall cleared his throat "yeah of course, y/n this is Louis and this is Harry, guys this is y/n" he said.

"Oh I knew who you were y/n i just wanted to hear Niall say it, since he never shuts up about you and shows us your cute 'couple pictures'" Louis finished. "Yeah it's nice to meet you y/n" Harry added.

"Yeah you too guys, so what exactly did Niall say about me" you asked raising your eyebrows, making Louis and Harry chuckle. "A LOT of things, how he thinks you're the most beautiful girl in the world, how he misses you and wants to kiss you all the tim......."

"Shut up Louis" Niall cut him off, his face was blushing. You couldn't help but coo at his blushing face. Harry laughed "i like this girl, she's exactly how you described"

"Yup she's a keeper mate" Louis added. "Oh y/n i can tell you some other things Niall has said about how much he adores you like....." Louis was cut off again by Niall "Not today Louis" he let out a nervous chuckle, "Right c'mon y/n lets go see Zayn" he said pointing towards a table where Zayn was sat on his phone alone. You nodded your head "okay, nice to meet you guys, I can't wait to hear the rest of these stories" you said laughing as Niall grabbed your hand pulling you away from them.

"Sorry about that" he mumbled. You giggled a little "Don't be sorry, I love how you talk about me" Niall smiled at you and leaned in to give you a quick kiss.

You walked over to the table Zayn was at.

"Zayn my man how you doing?" Niall asked greeting his best friend with a huge smile. Niall loved all of the boys to death and he had a tight relationship with all of them but out of them all it seemed like he cared about Zayn's approval the most, so you were definitely nervous to say the least.

"Sup Niall" he mumbled, Niall looked a little confused but shrugged it off and carried it on "So....I'd like you to meet my girlfriend y/n, you know, the girl I've been wanting you to meet for ages?" He asked hopefully. "Hi y/n" he muttered, not taking his eyes off of his phone. This time you furrowed your eyebrows, what was wrong with Zayn, did you do something wrong?

"Zayn, could you at least take your eyes off of your phone and look up" Niall said his voice getting a little angrier by the second. Zayn finally looked up placing his phone down on the table. "Sorry" he muttered.

"Erm...you okay Zayn?" You asked concerned. He finally looked your way, you couldn't decipher his facial expression. "Just peachy" he said sarcastically, taking you back a bit.

"Zayn" Niall warned, holding onto your hand a little tighter. Zayn shook his head "Sorry, erm...can I talk to y/n alone?" He asked hesitantly. Niall looked towards you, you nodded your head signalling it was fine, Niall left with a silent "okay" and a kiss.

"Sit down"Zayn said. You sat down slowly, extremely nervous as to what was about to come.

"So. Do you really like Niall?" He asked skeptically. You nodded your head quickly "Of course i do, with all my heart" you answered. Zayn nodded his head "good".

Suddenly his facial expression changed from that cold hard look he was giving you, to a look of worry.

"Please don't break his heart," Zayn said his voice barely audible. You furrowed your eyebrows "I would never do that to him, you don't have to worry about that. Zayn I know you treat Niall like your little brother and i respect that, I think it's amazing the relationship you two have. And I can promise you from the bottom of my heart that I love Niall, he means everything to me and I would never do anything to hurt him" you finished.

That's when Zayn's face turned into a full on smile "That's what I wanted to hear" he leaned over to give you a big hug, catching you off guard.

"I'm sorry about being all cold to you then, I'm not normally like that, I just wanted to see if you really did care about Niall, but I can tell that you do. And I also know that he feels the exact same way, he's never talked about anyone the way he has talked about you and I'm happy for you both" he admitted.

"Thanks Zayn" you smiled.

"No problem y/n. Well I'm gonna go over and join the guys in their footie match, I'll talk to you later" Zayn said getting up to go to Louis and Harry. You nodded your head waving him away.

That's when you felt a presence behind you, you turned around to see Niall with the biggest smile on his face. You got up to get closer to him and narrowed your eyes at him "Niall.....were you listening?" You asked.

He started stuttering but then gave up "what can i say, I couldn't help it, I had to. That was the nicest thing I've heard in a long time y/n thank you" he kissed you passionately on the lips.

"And I'm glad the boys like you, I love you princess" he said giving you a hug whilst the other guys made inappropriate comments at the two of you, making you chuckle. Life with these boys was definitely going to be entertaining.
