Red Carpet

"Y/n calm down" Niall chuckled. You were both sitting in the car ready to get out and head straight on to the carpet, the rest of the boys were in the cars behind you with their girlfriends and other guests.

"Calm down! I can't calm down Niall there's so many pretty people out there and what if I trip and the camera see it and then they d....."

You were cut off by Niall pressing his lips against yours, "You talk too much," he smirked. "And you're gorgeous, my eyes will only be on you tonight, you're by far the prettiest girl here, I guarantee you," he smiled confidently giving you another quick kiss.

"We're ready" Niall told the driver, who nodded his head and got out of the car to open the door closest to Niall. "Enjoy it princess" Niall quickly said whilst stepping out of the car, he then gave you his hand, to help you get out of the car. You took a deep breath, held onto his hand and stepped out of the car. There were suddenly screams of people calling Niall's name.

"Niall" "Niall look this way" "Niall and y/n" "C'mon guys give us your best smile" "Niall have my babies" "Ditch the girl and come with me" "Niall marry me"

Those were just some of the things said.

You were a little confused and scared, but Niall put his hand protectively around your waist and walked you to an area on the carpet where the rest of the boys were stood in a group.

"You okay princess?" he asked. You nodded your head "Yeah" you said. "Don't listen to some of the things they say, it's crazy" he assured you.

"Right boys, pictures" a man said with headphones and a clipboard.

They all nodded, Niall said "We're just gonna take some press shots, stay here with Eleanor" You nodded giving him a big smile.

You watched as the boys stood in a line in front of the cameras, they looked flawless , it's like they didn't even have to try to look good, it just happened naturally. The press were shouting at them to look in different directions, if that was you, you'd probably get dizzy from looking in different places, but they looked like naturals.

The boys made their way back to you and the rest then Niall grabbed your hand, "Come and take some pictures with me y/n" he smiled. You widened your eyes "What?"

"Awww come on, I want the world to see us happy together, and I need a new profile picture for twitter" he winked. You laughed at how casual Niall was. Truth is he was freaking out inside, he hated all the small spaces and the people screaming his name, but with you by his side, it made him forget all of that, it calmed his nerves.

You nodded your head "Okay"

He put his arm protectively around your waist and took you towards the cameras, immediately there were flashing lights in your eyes and people telling you to look towards them, it was all a little too much. Niall sensed your discomfort and brought his finger to your chin and turned your head so you were now looking at him, all of a sudden you forgot about all of the people, you forgot about the cameras, the only thing that mattered to you both in that moment was each other, Niall leant in to give you a kiss, it was only a quick one, but it was enough to get your heart racing and for the others to 'awwww' at how adorable you two were.

"Let's go inside now" Niall whispered, you nodded your head following him to the entrance, when something or someone caught your eye, Niall looked at you a little in confusion. "Oh my god that's actually Katy Perry" your jaw dropped

Niall couldn't help but laugh at your reaction, "Yeah" he chuckled "Yeah it is. I'll introduce you once we're inside" he promised. You couldn't help but smile wider "I love you" you said. "I love you too and thanks for coming with me, everything's a lot better when you're around" he smiled kissing you on the lips.

Needless to say you guys had a very fun night at the awards.
