Talking has always been the next best thing other than exploring each other's body. But Jaebum speaks lesser than usual, worrying Jinyoung and so he pops questions about his new pet and his job at the coffee shop. Jaebum answers everything with minimalism, still upset over his own flip of personality and Jinyoung's false accusations and doubts.
"All those words you said, it was just to tick me off right?"
Jaebum swirls the ketchup dip with a french fry and waits for Jinyoung to respond, still somewhat shaken by their little stunt at the Park family's backyard. The last thing he had expected himself to do was jerking Jinyoung off in order to defend his own sexuality and prove his point. Jinyoung scoots closer with his plastic chair, rubs a hand over Jaebum's thigh and smiles heartily.
"After all the time I've spent observing you, I can tell that you crack under pressure. You left me no choice, Jaebum-ah."
Jaebum drops the fry and then slowly removes Jinyoung's hand from over his body. The other boy with his half-eaten vanilla cone frowns instantly.
"That wasn't funny Jinyoungie. I don't like hearing such things. Simply because it takes me back to the time when I was still confused about my feelings for you when you said tons of hurtful words I couldn't reply to. Plus, I did think you actually wanted to end our relationship," Jaebum says and picks up his discarded french fry to bite on it.
