It's Simple, Really

"Okay, I have an idea," I say as soon as I catch Camila in her classroom, minutes after the bell rang.

"Well, nice to see you too, Y/n." She jests, glancing at the door before giving me a quick peck on the lips, making me blush. When I turn around, though, the door is wide open.

"That's dangerous." I comment, but she just smiles and winks at me, "And, I have an idea for dealing with you-know-who."

"That's a different Harry, babe, but nice try." She teases once again, making me groan as I follow her out of the classroom.

"I also have a plan." She continues, "What's yours?"

"Okay, so we hire someone to come and act like your... boyfriend or something." I explain, cringing at the word itself, "He kisses you in front of Harry and voila, he thinks your straight and you've got a guy, and he gets off of our asses. It's simple, really."

She chuckles, bumping into me as we walk, before clearing her throat upon noticing my offended frown.

"Okay, here's my plan." She continues, "We tell Harry about your dad and say that's why we spend so much time together and talk after and in class. He won't suspect us being together anymore and we may have someone else to help us if he turns up again. It's simple really."

Her last sentence, mimicking mine, makes me roll my eyes playfully.

"I don't know if I'd be okay with telling him." I admit, "I mean, I don't know the kid and he might ask about my parents, so I'd have to tell him about my moms. I don't wanna have to fight him again."

"Hey, no more fighting!" She scolds teasingly, "And I don't think he'll be like that."

"He called you a dyke, and me one in the process." I remind her, making her purse her lips and nod.

"Okay, so we lie about your moms and say one of them is a guy?" She offers, and I finally agree.

"When do we do it?"

"Tomorrow. After class." She answers shortly.

"That soon?" I question, but she just nods.

"It'll seem less like we've had to conjure up a lie if we do it sooner. He's more likely to believe us." She explains, making me nod in agreement.

"Okay. Tomorrow, after class, we tell him." I repeat, "But right now, I need to go home. My moms want me back right after school. I'll see you tomorrow."

I grin when she turns around and hugs me, planting a soft kiss on my cheek after making sure nobody who shouldn't see it won't.

"See you tomorrow, baby."

"Bye, gorgeous." I wink, patting her backside before we part ways.
