Chapter 14: Luke is doing what?

Luna/Caitlin's POV

"I wonder how's Luke's going" I asked out loud, in the big house with my friends surrounding me.
"I hope Nyx hasn't done anything bad to him" Annabeth said.
I rolled my eyes.
We have become good friends after sorting out our differences.
"I'm sure my mother would love Luke" I said sarcastically.
Kirsty rolled her eyes.
She's acting completely different; she's acing more like Nico.
She'c blames us for Luke/Percy's disappearance and doesn't talk to us, especially the band anymore.
"Well" Leo said "Using my monster-proof technology, I have found out what Luke is doing"
"And?" I asked.
"Where is he? Is he okay?" Hazel asked.
Leo's smiled faded.
"He's continued his singing career" Leo said "He actually just broke the record. He released an a solo album a day ago and sold over 400,000 copies"
The rest of the band widen their eyes.
It's better than what we have done and we were considered the best band in the world.
I smiled faintly.
"Really?" Dylan "At lest he's okay and doing well"
Leo sighed sadly.
"What?" Kristy asked.
"He...had a drug overdose 4 mouths ago..." Leo said.
Everyone went silent.
Luke or Percy wasn't that type of person.
What drove him to-.
"His flaw" Kristy whispered.
I widen my eyes.
Us...leaving leave...would have made him crazy.
"What else did he do?" Jason asked.
"Started to drink badly, swore all the time and partied all the time" Leo said "The source I read said that his manger hired a new photographer for him and he changed back to normal"
"Andy?" I asked.
Leo widen his eyes when he looked down at his monster proof phone.
"Not just Andy" Leo said "Nyx"

I widen my eyes.
He's in trouble.
"Iris message Luke now!" I said.
"Luna-"
"Now" I snapped "My mother will destroy him! Please!"
Kristy sighed and summoned water.
"Oh iris, hear my plead, send a message to Luke Jackson" Kristy said.

The Iris message revealed a different Luke.
Luke looked more like Percy: his hair back to being black.
It's still as messy as usual.
He's laughing at something...the girl said.
The girl has teal blue hair and blue eyes.
"Luke!"
Luke looked up, his green eyes narrowing.
"What do you guys want?" He asked sourly, making me flinch.
"Is my mother doing anything bad to you?" I asked.
He looked at me with cold eyes.
"She was the one who helped me get to where I am now thank you very much" He snapped.
"But she's ev-"
"She is not evil" the girl said, "She's the nicest person I know"
"And you are?" Annabeth asked.
"Mayla" Mayla said "His photographer and a clear sighted mortal; don't think I don't know what's going on because I do. You broke Luke's heart and I had to get him back from the ground up and look where he is now. He doesn't need you talking to him to bring on that bad emotions again"
Luke looked at her warmly.
"Thanks for backing me up Mayla" Luke said "Could you get my song writing book?"
She glared at him.
"But-"
"Please?" He asked.
She rolled her eyes and stood up.
"Fine, but you better take me out for dinner" she said, walking out the room.
"And make the media go even more mad and think we're dating" Luke yelled.
"OH SHUT UP!" Layla yelled from out the frame.
Luke turned to us, standing up.
The Iris messaged followed him up.
"I would like it if you don't talk to me again, I'm already at my best and have a tour I'm going on with a second album in the process" Luke said "I don't need to deal with your faces again; I already told media I am never talking to you again...well, apart from Kristy"
Kristy chuckled.
"We need to catch up" she said.
He looked at her surprised.
"You're hair is different" he commented.
Instead of Kristy's black hair with sea-green tips, she has changed it up to a baby blue (with her black roots being seen) with her sea-green eyes.
"Looking hot" he said "Have any guys on you yet?"
Kristy blushed.
"Stop" she said "And no, I need no man"
"You're sounding like the hunters of Artemis" Luke said.
He coughed.
"Anyway, I need to get-"
"Please, Luke listens to us" Jake said "We're sorry for-"
"Sorry?" He echoed "You're sorry? Well...you're gonna need more than that for you to forgive me"
Luke turned away.
"Luke, betrayal is hard but you need to forgive-"
"They shattered me Piper, it isn't as simple as that" Luke said.
I narrowed my eyes.
We were told something which was obvious.
Annabeth mistook what she saw.
We forgave her.
So he should too.
"Your flaw-"
"You know nothing about my flaw" Luke said darkly "I hate people trying to relate to me; it's not as simple as forgiving them"
I couldn't keep in my anger.

"Percy, look at us and stop being stubborn!" I said, making everyone gasp.
Luke/Percy turned around to face us.
"Don't you dare call me by that name again" he said, angrily.
"Percy? My dear boy?' Chiron asked.
He smiled.
"Hey Chiron" Percy/Luke said.
"Percy?" Annabeth whispered, tears forming.
Luke sighed.
"Just because you know who I am now doesn't mean I'm changing sides in this war" Luke said seriously "I am still on Nyx's side, and there's nothing you can do to change it"
"Is it because of me?" I asked.
He sighed and looked at me.
"No, it's not" he said "You'll find out soon enough"
And he swiped the message.
