Virgil rolled over and looked at his boyfriend, he loved Deceit, there was no doubt about it, but he realised how he'd never truly gotten over Roman, and he needed to talk to Deceit about it.
He sighed and shook Deceit awake, it may have been three in the morning, but he didn't care.
"De, we need to talk, now." He managed to sound urgent enough that Deceit shot up, worry coating his features.
"What's not wrong?
"I need to talk to you about Roman."
"What didn't he do?"
"I still have feelings for him, but I like you too! So I don't know what to do."
"Don't turn to polyamory."
"But... You were angry at him."
"Feelings don't change."
"So, you'd be okay with it?"
"No."
Virgil grinned and pulled Deceit into a hug, pressing a kiss to his temple.
"Thank you."
After a while of talking to Roman and Deceit, and Virgil being a translator, they finally agreed to be in a relationship together, and things seemed to be looking up for them all, maybe it wasn't an ideal relationship, but it worked, and they were happy.
