Her smile was fake and wide, showing off her sharpened canines. Kuro ran to your side, helping you get up quickly. Hitting the wall had weakened you significantly, this was going to be a big problem. She chuckled at the sight of your shaking state, Kuro holding you up.

"Come on, Kuro dear. You choose to live your life serving under someone so weak, when you have the opportunity to take over and be the master yourself." Kuro glared back at her.

"I will serve under (Y/n) for however long she may live, there's nothing you can do that will make me change my mind," he growls. Your grasp tightened on him as your strength slowly came back, allowing you to stand on your own.

"Why are you here?!" you demanded, trying not to shake since your body wasn't ready to stand yet. With a smirk, she closes her umbrella and leans on it.

"To take over, of course. You see, your father never wanted to take over the world, that was my goal. I made him think that was what he wanted but in reality, those were my ideals. I watched over him in the beginning and planned to serve him, he was such a sweet child, loving and determined. But after, you know, the fire. I discovered how innocent and easy to manipulate he was, like a personal puppet. So that's what he became, my precious puppet." She laughed as if it were the funniest thing in the world. Pure anger and hatred radiated off of you as you glared daggers at the shadow woman.

"Why would you do that? How could you take advantage of a child like that?" you yell. She taps her chin, pretending to think before she gave her answer.

"I want to be able to control the future, I want it to bend to my will. And since children are the future, manipulating them is the perfect way to reach my goal. Your father may be a genius but when it comes to relationships and trust, he has no idea what he's doing. He thought he could do everything on his own, so I told him to conceive a child with his quirk combined with another strong one. The hero, Lady angel, was perfect, I told him to take her, to rape her, to hurt her. And he did it all, just like a good puppet should." At this point you were shaking with rage, you knew what she was trying to do and it was working. Closing your eyes for a second, you began taking deep breaths in and out, trying to calm down. Getting upset and letting your emotions get the best of you wasn't a goo idea. Once feeling refreshed, you turned to Kuro who stood protectively by your side.

"How do I beat her?" you ask. His eyes widened, surprised by your question.

"(Y/n), you can't beat her. She's way too powerful, if you go into this you'll die." Your glare returns, now directed at him.

"I asked you how I can beat her, now tell me." Your voice was demanding but he took no offense, in this type of situation it was normal to feel that way. With a sigh, he looked up at you, placing both hands on your shoulders.

"You'll have to make a pact with her, it's like a contract. I have a contract with you, that's why I'm here and she has one with your father. But it's too risky, you can't-" He was cut off by you pushing his arms away and taking a step forward, this intrigued Akuma.

"I would like to make a contract!" you announce. Kuro's eyes widened, running to you while shaking his head.

"(Y/n), you can't. You don't know what she'll do." You hated to do it but you ignored his words, taking another step towards the shadow woman. This piqued her interest, this was very risky.

"Alright, but you'll have to go  by my terms. If I am to win, I will take Kuro's place as your shadow spirit, becoming your master." You nod in agreement.

"Fine, but if I win then you must leave my father alone and never show your face in front of my family again." Her smile widens.

"It's a deal, now come forth and shake on it," she announced, holding her gloved hand out. You began walking towards her, only now noticing your father who was shakily trying to get up. Your attack had dealt a lot of damage and he had no energy to move, yet for you, he could stand.

"N-no, (Y-Y/n)," he choked out. You couldn't help but frown at the sight, but that didn't stop you from continuing. Stopping in front of Akuma, you reached out and shook her gloved hand.

"The contract is now final, step back and prepare to feel more pain than you could've ever imagined." You jumped back, getting into a battle stance, one much like the one you were in when facing your father. This just made her laugh.

"You don't honestly think that I'm going to fight you hand to hand, do you?" she snickers, her amused smile turning into a smirk. This was surprising, you couldn't help but wonder what else she had in mind. Before you could answer, she clicked her fingers, hundreds of shadow spirits appearing around her.

"This is a combination of all the people your father has killed and all that I have over the years. My loyal puppets will do anything I ask of them, even if I told them to kill you." As she spoke, the shadows began moving forward, combining into one entity. The bodies merged into a mass of darkness, growing taller and taller until it towered over you like a titan. It's height was comparable to the arena which the sports festival was held in, it was gigantic. You stumbled back, trying to get away as the creature bend town and swung at you. Kuro ran to your side, pulling you further back.

"I was afraid this was going to happen, there's no way of beating this thing. Give into the contract now before she kills you, I can't watch you die," he begged. You sent him a glare with barred teeth.

"You've been with me all this way and you want me to give up? To let her have me? I only have one shadow spirit and that's you. Do you seriously want to see me become a monster like her, huh?" He looks to the ground with a saddened expression.

"It was hard enough losing her but I'd be happier knowing that you were alive, (Y/n). The sacrifice isn't worth it."

"The sacrifice is worth everything to me, everything I love and care about it riding on this and if I don't try, there's no point in even being here. If I gave up in the beginning, I'd have nothing. I have so much to live for and I'm not going to give up, I'd die before I gave up!" you yelled. It wasn't directed solely at him, this was for Akuma to hear also. No matter what anyone said, you would never give in.

Pulling your sword in front of you, you charged at the ever-growing beast, slicing at it's leg. Several of the shadow spirits fell away and disappeared but were immediately replaced with more. You bit your lip in irritation, at this point you didn't have a plan and were just winging it. It had worked well so far but your luck had run out.

Jumping back, you dodged another attack as the titan punched the ground. All of this remained within the fence-like barrier, keeping the pro heroes and students out. Suddenly, you were snapped out of your thoughts by the sound of Kuro's voice.

"(Y/n), you need to think of something quickly!" he called out, pulling you back as the giant attacked again. But no matter how hard you tried, nothing was coming to mind.

"Damn it," you swore under your breath.

"Come on now, (Y/n). If you keep running away I might have to kill some people. Perhaps some pro heroes, students maybe? It doesn't really matter though, blood is blood," she laughs manically, her smile stretched insanely wide across her face. It was then that an idea finally came, one which could actually work.

"Kuro, hand me my bow," you demand, not having the time to be polite. He nods and pulls it from his pocket, placing it in your hand.

"What are you going to do?" he asks, worry evident in his voice. You kept a determined look on your face as the bow extended to it's full form.

"We're gonna fight fire with fire."

I wonder what that could mean? You could figure it out or you could wait, the choice is yours. Haven't hinted to what will happen but if you guess right I'll be surprised. Hope I'm not that predictable. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Vote and follow me for more. Thank ya XD
