Today was the day. I'm going to confess my love to my crush, Ruby Rose. It was also special for another reason, since it is Valentine's day. I took a deep breathe and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I straightened my H/C hair before grabbing the red rose's next to me. I opened the door and I went to walk out. I ran into someone on the first step, and I looked up to see Yang. 

"Going to confess to my sister hm?" She smirked as she saw the roses I hid behind my back

"Yeah. Do you know where she is?" I was lucky enough for Yang to approve of me asking out her sister. She found out I had a crush on her a few months ago, and we had a 'little' talk. 

"Last time I saw her she was in the courtyard. Go get 'er tiger." Yang smirked as she slapped my ass

I blushed before I took off towards the courtyard. I pushed passed angry students when I finally spotted Ruby. I ran towards her,

"RUBY!" I yelled and she immediately turned towards my direction

I panted as I finally stood in front of her,

"Hey Y/N!" She smiled happily 

"H-Hey Rubes.."

We stood there a little awkwardly before she tried to look around my back, trying to look at the roses,

"What do you have behind your back?" She tried to peek around, but I moved to block her

"N-Nothing..." I blushed 

She gave me an angry pout as she looked up at me,

"I know you're hiding something!"

"I-It's-I-" I gulped as I tried to form a sentence 

I looked into Ruby's silver eyes and took a deep breath,

"W-Well I was wondering i-if you w-wanted to g o-out with me." I stuttered as I quickly took out the roses

Ruby's face was covered in a deep blush. She only sat there, and I took it as rejection. 

"I-I'm sorry. I s-should've know y-you didn't l-like me like t-that." Tears gathered in my eyes as I almost dropped the roses

I turned and started to run away when I felt someone's arms around my waist,

"Wait!" I heard Ruby's voice as she hugged me tighter, "You didn't get to let me speak!"

My eyes widened and I tried to turn around in her grip, 

"B-But I t-thought you being s-silent-"

"You thought!" Ruby wiped away a tear that escaped my eye, "You didn't let me say anything. I like you too." She smiled before leaning up and placing a kiss on my lips 

I smiled in the kiss as I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her back. More tears left my eyes, but they were of joy. When we pulled away I let out a small chuckle before trying to wipe away my tears,

"You're still crying..." Ruby looked up at me sadly

"It's of joy!" I sniffled kissing her forehead 

"This is actually kind of funny.." Ruby giggled, "I was trying to find you to ask you out, but you beat me to it." She smiled as she pulled out a bag of cookies and placed them in my hand
