"TURN TO ME"

     It is a privilege to write something small about the topic entitled in Christ as "TURN TO ME". With the little knowledge God has granted me, I would like to pour it out so that we can all learn something important from it and also live a holy life as the word itself is holy. Brethren, God's love towards his children is very great and the greatness of his love determines how angry he becomes when his children or people TURN AGAINST HIM by following their own heart desires and doing ungodly things. Now how do we understand the word 'TURN'? 1.What happens before one will turn?
2. Why will a person turn?
3. Why did the person turn?
4. What makes him turn?
All these questions have a reason, but we have to understand that, the turn God is talking about here is not like turning parts of your body from their normal position but rather evil deeds, I mean sin. One will ask, why is God saying TURN TO ME, what authority does he have to tell me to turn to him? Well, all I want you to know is that the authority he has is an everlasting authority, it does not end and you cannot understand it, he created heaven and earth and everything inside including you and me, so you see, he has the eternal authority over you and me. He created you in His image and his likeness. When you read (GENESIS 1:26), ask yourself this question that; If he created me in his image and likeness, then why again is he saying "TURN TO ME".

         Brethren, this topic or this saying wouldn't have existed without disobedience. We were once in his image and his likeness but we turn it to our likeness and our image and since that, sin has dissolved in us like a mixture of Gari and sugar. I will be happy if you read GENESIS to see how sin came into being, it was disobedience that brought sin and it has existed till now. In (ISAIAH 45:22), God said; 'TURN TO ME and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other'.
So when check the questions I ask, you will see that, is because of salvation that's why God said you should turn. Is because of evil deeds that's why he said turn to me, and without love, he wouldn't have said that. So you see how God cares and loves you. He is an everlasting father, his love is eternal. If only you will "TURN", he will save you as written in (ISAIAH 45:22).
          Brethren, facing the wrath of God is one thing you and I must escape and avoid. As is written in (HOSEA 13:16), the Israelites turned against God and were severely punished, though they were God's loved country and firstborn son as said in (EXODUS 4:22) that; he punished them not because he hated them but for them to realize their mistakes and turn to back to him as their God.

         Now if God punished his first son, how much more we the Gentiles. But because of his eternal love, it doesn't matter how great our sins may be in his presence he will save us if only we turn as written in (JOEL 2:13) that; Our hearts must be broken for the word of God to mend it completely for our salvation sake because this is the only way our lord can accept us back as his own. (EZEKIEL 18:23) throws more light on why Christ hates the death of sinners. God keeps telling us to turn to him why? Because he knows that, the death of a sinners soul head to towards eternal and everlasting hell which is the lake of fire which he prepared for Satan and his army. So, brethren, let us wake up from our sleep in the world and TURN TO OUR GOD as said in (ZACHARIAH 1:3) For he will also turn to us. In (JEREMIAH 31;2-3) It says; we should escape the enemies sword for we shall find comfort in the desert and he will appear to us his people. But, let's ask ourselves, what Sword is God talking about? We all attest to the fact that earthly things such as lust, makeups, Wearing of trousers, Dating, Courtship, Wearing of wigs, painting of fingernails, Fornication, adultery, and a whole lot of sins makes us weaker and not focus on Christ and all these becomes an obstacle of turning to God because it has no good effect on our Christian lives. This becomes the sword God is telling us to escape by ignoring such things which may come our way and remaining focused only on him for us to achieve our great vision of making heaven.

            Brethren, If you are willing to obey(turn), then God is also available for you in everything, so is time we tune our minds on salvation only and turn to him for him to accept us back as his children and his nation. (ISAIAH 1:19). But remember too that, The Sword of God is meant for protecting what is precious, and for you to become precious, you need to have SANCTIFICATION, HOLINESS, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS in your daily life. Prayer Can't protect you without RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION, AND HOLINESS.

And if your vision is to gain earthly things, then am sorry you are hell alive, I mean hell will be your daily meal. Repent and TURN TO GOD and you will be saved. It is my prayer for God to grant everyone the spirit of understanding after reading this short message for it to have a great effect positively on your Christian lives.
