PHILIPPIANS 3:12-15
2 TIMOTHY 2:5,11.

In our previous discussion, we learned how race is all about in our Christian life by serving Christ. And since our previous discussion was much physical, I would like to discuss today's message from the scripture specifically. As I've been saying, the race is all about serving JESUS CHRIST the son of the living God, and not by having confidence in the flesh anymore. Taking Apostle Paul as our discussion, Jesus seized Paul and put him in the race. Paul did not join the race by himself and he was not even ready for that. Now let me tell one wisdom here, JESUS seizing Paul here does not mean he will do the same to you. Everyone has his or her destiny. And you could see from Paul's teachings that, he was Encouraging others to join the race. After all not all human beings can be Pastors. Now let's box on,  If you believe and take Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior then is an assurance that you are in the race, that is, the race of making Christianity and Righteousness a lifestyle.

So Paul the Apostle said, he considered everything he has as garbage for the sake of Christ. See (PHILIPPIANS 3:7-8). The moment sin appeared, things changed. Our emotions, attitude, and more were corrupted by sin. So God saw we needed a savior that is God called us to salvation through his son JESUS CHRIST. Understand that, we were created to be saved and to serve God. The reason why you are not part of the race is that you still have confidence in the flesh. Without proper attitude, you can't run this race, without Obedience to God's commands, you can't run this race. So the Bible says Since you didn't do it for your brother you didn't do it for me either. Meaning, the race you are running by serving Jesus Christ must be in a way proffering Christ's behavior to others, that is, your attitude should reflect ti the rules and regulations in the race.

Living to please God will automatically teach others about CHRIST, will automatically encourage others to join the race

Living to please God will automatically teach others about CHRIST, will automatically encourage others to join the race. Paul the Apostle did not see himself being crown the winner but he saw himself to be in the race in other to press on high to reach the deadline.  In verse"13", you could get Paul's mind was at achieving the goal ahead of him which is found in verses "10" and "11". He was very focused on the race and he avoids any distractions. His mind was becoming more like CHRIST and this is the type of race am talking about. Race for Christ's sake brethren, for is a good race. Now, I urge you to devote yourself to know CHRIST. An athlete devoted himself to win his event. Christians must also devote themselves to Christ to get eternal life. Fellow believers, this is our event and we need to win it by living a righteous life. If we do this, we will resurrect with him. See (2 TIMOTHY 2:11)

My Quote for you is

"DON'T LET THE PAST DISTRACT YOU, BUT BE DETERMINE ON WHAT'S AHEAD OF YOU"

"DON'T LET THE PAST DISTRACT YOU, BUT BE DETERMINE ON WHAT'S AHEAD OF YOU"
