Fortunately, Rosé didn't have to run far; her car was parked near where they were. Mina listened to the sound of the engine starting and then, the vehicle driving off.
Too immersed in the thoughts of Jimin almost killing Rosé, she didn't feel his arms sneaking around her waist and his head being nuzzled in the nape of her neck. She thought that it was just her clothes getting heavier with rainwater until she tried to move. She was pulled back into the position and was held firmly. His hot breath sent goosebumps down her back.
Flinching, she tried to move again but stopped immediately. Her body shook with his.
He was crying.
"Huh?" She slightly turned her head and kissed his temples. "Jiminie, why are you--?"
"I'm sorry, baby," he sobbed. "I'm so sorry."
"Jimin, it's okay. Come on, let's get you home before you get sick." She carefully removed his arms and began walking away from him. Though it had only been less than three hours since he had walked away from her on the streets, and less than one hour since she had "broken up" with him, she felt uncomfortable making any skin contact with him. The kiss didn't count; she was just trying to make him stop crying, but other than that, they had never kissed, like . . . on the lips. She was too shy to do it.
"Who said you could leave like that?" Jimin grabbed her wrist and put a hand behind her back. He carried her back to the bench and made her sit on his lap. Mina squirmed uncomfortably and looked at him in disgust when he let out a moan.
"Jimin, look, it's raining hard. We need to leave now," she muttered and tried to get up again. He tightened his hold and turned her around so he could rest his chin on her shoulder. He grasped her hands in his to prevent her from making any more attempts at escaping. She humphed and jammed her elbow in his chest.
"Since when did you get so aggressive, Minari?" he groaned.
"Since now? Jimin, let me go!"
"No! I believe we need to talk. Right, Minari?" He began rubbing his nose up and down her neck, leaving small kisses. She squirmed again and this time he moaned with full pleasure. "Look at what you're doing to me, Mina~"
"No, look at what you've done to me," Mina mumbled and leaned back on his chest, finally giving up. She closed her eyes. The rain didn't bother them anymore; both of them were used to it now. They couldn't get any wetter and their skin was so cold that the sharp piercing drops slid down their faces unfelt. Suddenly, something, she didn't know what, came over her. She wanted to talk. She wanted to talk to him. She didn't know about what, but the words just poured out of her mouth like crawling spiders. "Jimin, you know, until you came, I'd never failed in love, or even had a crush. You . . . you were my first love," she said.
"Hmm?"
"Aah." She felt uncomfortable talking about it now that she just started on the topic. "I was an introverted and a shy girl. I thought I could never muster enough courage to even glance at them, the boys. They called me the nation's outcast at school. No parents, no family, no proper house, no friends. At that time, I only had Tzuyu, but I was too ashamed to hang out with her. I didn't want her to lose her other friends at school because of me. I was a completely different person when I wasn't in the orphanage. I always kept to myself and never even talked to anyone else. They all hated me for being so mysterious."
"What is their problem?" Jimin fumed. "Want me to kill them all, Minari? I can hunt them down for you right now."
"There will be no need for that. I don't even remember their names," she laughed and traced one finger down his chin, but secretly staring at his thick, luscious lips. Smiling, she continued the story, though not sure why was she telling him all this. All she knew was that she was trying to drive away from the topic of them fighting before, but still, somehow make a connection to what she was saying right now.
