Two slender figures took their time to stroll across the Parks' garden, their hips sashaying left and right as if they were walking down a catwalk, their eyes dancing around in amazement. The place was so familiar yet so unfamiliar at the same time. Maybe the unfamiliarity was there because they weren't allowed on the grounds anymore.
It was the same garden they've been running and playing in for years . . . until their lives had been put to test and then--eventually--ruined. But their flashy outfits gleamed like disco balls in the starlight, giving off no vibes of a bad personality or a cruel attitude. Just one look at them, and you'll know how much just that one pair of shoes would cost you, and the two friends were skipping on the dirt patch like they were just their regular pairs of sneakers.
There was a purpose to their steps. Too much purpose.
And it would be for the best if it was left unknown.
It wasn't the first time they'd be showing up to a party uninvited, but every time they'd pulled off a stunt like that before, they'd always had people come begging at their pretty feet for their friendship. They'd be showered with truckloads of compliments for their pretty looks or offers as lovers. And from just that one party, they'd get invitations to more. Just their presence was the key to popularity, a chance for fame hunters to brag their cool, their boldness, their guts to make friends with the two, and an opportunity to boast about their importance and status for they were worthy enough for the girls' attention and time.
This was what money, looks, and a dominant, ('b' word)y attitude could do. Be fearless, be intimidating, be daunting, and be commanding, and you'll have your whole generation under your feet.
That was how the Jennie and Lisa had spent their adolescent years, scaring and ('b' word)ing around. And for them, taking things as far as landing themselves in prison for a night or two was nothing but a little setback to their plans. But on the positive note, it added to the respect the other punks like them had for the intimidating duo. Why be scared when your rich ('a' word) parents could just bail you out?
. . . But just this once, the crowd wasn't going to be as welcoming.
But who were they to hold back? After spending days locked up in their rooms like prisoners, they were given enough time to devise plans to get their pride back. Just because their reality was revealed by those girls who pretended to be their friends all that time when they were plotting an escape, it didn't mean that it all came to an end. They only thought they were free.
Well, maybe . . . they were. But who said that the other half of the "infamous four" would let them get away with it.
It wasn't much that they had in mind--actually, what Jennie had planned was all over the place without true meaning, only an ulterior motive--but their dialogs were scripted to earn back their lost dignity and forgotten ego.
Let's just say that they had no care for the party, nor did they have any envious feelings that they weren't invited, but they had a bone to pick with those two rats.
Their walk was a slow and pleasant one. The night was young, and the idea of making their presence known and the fear of them felt was refreshing in their minds. They didn't care if the outcome wasn't what they wanted, or if they ended up worse than just being put on house arrest. As long as they poked trouble at even the littlest thing, it was going to feel great.
Without Jennie and Lisa's slightest knowledge, in the dark of the night, a pair of forgotten eyes followed their strolling figures. And they had been tailing them for a quite a while now. The girls had been taking their sweet time before they finally jumped into action, and the eyes' owner had his aged, sharp ears perked up. Their laughter and talks weren't exactly quiet, even though they wanted the signs of themselves so scarce to a point where no one would've ever expected them to make an entrance, even those who knew their record of uninvited pop-ups.
