There he stood right in front of me, our lips were so close that our wolves felt the spark between us. Small little electrical shocks exchange even if our lips weren't touching.
My skin filled with goosebumps as my hair stood up behind my neck and the she bitch wave her in tail forward like a whore in heat.
She wanted Roman wolf to sniff our heavily scent.
Feeling already annoyed at him for being too close I heard a buzzing coming from the distant.
The buzz of the fly amplified in my ears as annoyance was already running deeply inside me. Without thinking twice I forcefully tossed the knife across the room until the buzzing finally stop.
Killing the little pest was my way of showing him a double entendre.
Annoy me again it would be him in the other side of the knife.
Just as he yelled at me like spoiled child, Luna Kay walked in spotting the knife sticking out of her wall.
"Wow that fly must have gotten on your last nerve, huh?" She said with peak smirk smile.

"Forgive Luna I will pay for damages."
She yanks it the knife out of the wall with all of her strength. "You're pretty strong huh?"
I smile.
"Darling, what pack are you from?"
She asks
I look down with despair and regret.
"Don't belong to a pack, my father is human. I lost my mom when I was ten."
"Sorry, to hear that. That can explain alot of your traits but I've never seen a female as tall as you or as strong as you unless, you're an alpha or warrior."

"I'm either but dominant human, I've been running my father's business as young as 16 and train my body with intense exercises with Cole."

"Cole? Is he the mate you desire?"
I look down with guilt and unsure how to respond to her question.
"Cole has been by my side since I was 16 and I don't know what I would do without him."
I couldn't admit I wanted him as a mate since I didn't have feelings for him but he was all I knew.

As we sit around the table eating this fabulous meal I can sense Zelda wolf whimpering from exhaustion, today has been an eventful day for her as well for myself.
As I try to excuse myself, Cole isn't taking the news of us being in separated rooms lightly.
I placed my hands on lap trying to keep cool and collective but this mean less gesture drove Roman to storm away like scorn child.

Luna takes us upstairs as I follow her with Zelda in my arms. "If you need anything I'm down the hall."
I place my little Zelda in the bed as I arms wrap tightly around her small frame reminder her she's safe.
But today's eventful days as also made my own wolf anxious, the need for her run has twitch as ache my muscles.
"Hey sweet girl, I need to let my wolf escape for a minute."
She quickly shoves her head in the crook of my neck taking a quick sniff before she lets out a breath. "Okay."
Something she has always done since moment I save her life.  She said the smell of pine made her feel safe. But I never quite understood what she meant.

"Okay you know the rules, call my cellphone for anything!"
Her heavy eyes look at me with small agreeable nod as sleep now takes over.

I open my luggage that Frank left in our rooms before he share a room with Cole.
I replace my uptight wear into woman men's basketball shorts and random shirt to make a quick run.
