He seem to be in a gated mood.
"Dinner, remember."
I softly say
"If they came for the money I don't have it."
He ran their business in exchange for small monthly income but he never could pay them.
I on the other hand gave them the money and pretend it was him. Something he didn't know I was doing.
"Red." Yelled the woman I adore as a mother.
Once again I can hear Gabriellas' loud foot steps stomping out of her room down the stairs.
"Nana and paw!"This girl was just a loveable child. But as she took the stairs there something different her eyes, they change into amber red for two second but vanished with a blink of the eye. 'She's a wolf.'
Happily Yelled Rain.
She jump into her Paw arms as he was able to catch her. We quickly exchange a looked as he also noticed her strength. But my wolf was prideful bitch, she jump for joy letting go of happily growls.
I had so many questions to ask him like why isn't Stephen a wolf? Is he even his father ? Where did this hatered come from ?
Mrs. Kevin's arm wrapped around my waist as a full smile appeared on her face. She loved to see the interaction between Gabby and her grandfather, "I haven't seen him smile this much in a long time."

Two happily in love people who accepted me and my daughter into their lives and I couldn't be more grateful than right now.
My whole life all I ever wanted was a family and acceptance.
Here it was, Gabriella will never endure the same pain I held.
I will do everything in my will to keep her safe.

Mr. Kevin walked away with Gabriella in his arms telling her a little story with pushy wolf. I think this was his own way of saying he missed his wolf. His fragrance of pine was almost gone just as much as mine. We were more human than wolf making us feel incomplete.
"You know dear, he misses Morris."
"Morris?"
I ask
"Yes dear his wolf. We know but he pushed him away because of Stephen."
More questions flood my mind.
"Stephen never got his wolf, he grew to hate his father .Wasn't his fault it's... just the moon goddess didn't bless him."
It explain some of hatred but I still felt as there's more.
I didn't know what to say or ask so I let go of small smile of gratitude.
"Thank you for sharing."
I said as we held in to each other while walking into my kitchen. We exchange funny stories about Gabriella shenanigans as we placed the plates on the table.
Laughter filled the kitchen as love filled the living area. I laughed with Mrs. Kevin while Mr. Kevin shared other story with Gabby.
My wolf ears peaked up on their conversation.

"You know Gabby, Have I ever told you the Native America story of, 'Two Wolves.'"

He asks he as she shakes her little head with excitement. Her eyes widen beam, she grabs her gray wolf and sits next to him waiting for the story.

"So, An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

He grabs her tummy starts tickling her "I will feed my wolf eat you little girl. Rowr."

Her laughter fills up the room as both Mrs Kevin's and I awe by their interaction.
"You know, he really loves her."
I look at her, "I never regret staying, am happy to be accepted into your family."
She embraces me with other hug as my chest vibrates, 'his mad.'

"Sorry to interpret this love fest but am hungry."  Each word came of his mouth scream hatred and anger Making his mother move her arms away from letting me go.
"Stephan darling, Red tells us she has idea to make this company progress with new times."
I place his plate of food before him as hatred fill his eyes showing off 'your in trouble' look.
"Does she now?"
He smirked.

"Yes."

I lie out forms and plans as everyone around me is now serving themselves while Gabby eating with her Pawpa.
As the fork reaches his mouth with piece of roast beef touches his lips. His other hands move the papers around. Not one bit interested in my business plans. Meat goes flying out of his mouth until my papers "this is dry, you can never do anything right."
He gets up and walks out the door.

Complete silence fills the room.
Silent tears drop from my eyes.
"Rita, take Gabby down to McDonald's gets some Big Macs."  Henry voice came in mix of command with hint of softness.
"Chicken nuggets!" Playful cheer Gaby from her chair.
Mrs Kevin shook her head with agreement. All these years this was the first time Mr. Kevins ever wanted to talk to me.
Gabby and Mrs. Kevins gladly left hand in hand. Just as the door close he features change tiny furs escape his face his nostrils up and shut almost sniffing like.
"Shes special." A growl like escape Non human like.
"I no whom she is." I knew instantly it was Morris
"Morris, yes she is special."
I looked down with mix guilt and miraculous to have her.
He left us to deserted place, 1000miles away from his kingdom. If Morris picked up her scent I wonder if she would be danger.
"Morris is her scent recognizable?"
He sniff again, "only to the originals, I'm from old colony further down south. I moved down to old rules. I left for a piece of peace."

'Originals?'
"We were but four many groups who help rule The Americans. Yearly the Alpha and beta met in the kingdom." Morris explained unarticulated way.

"Gabby is daughter of the king."
I said .

Just as quickly the door open and closed and in return Stephan. "Let's call it King Enterprise."

He said with devilish smile.
