Peter Parker & The Avengers one shots

Your Kid?!!

A/N: in this one shot, Nat and Steve are married, and have been for just over a year, coming up to their 2 year anniversary. They have been together for just over 6 years and have known one another for 8. Peter is Steve and Nat's kid and no one else knows, the Avengers know that Steve and Nat are married but do not know about their secret child.

As Nat walked into the lounge she saw Tony sat with Peter, how they had managed to keep this secret was beyond Steve and Natasha, but they managed to do it. When Peter was born Nat and Steve both decided that, in order to ensure Peter's safety, that he would have to be blocked off from his super solider genes aswell as his last name, so they decided to leave Peter with one of Natasha's closest friends, May and Ben Parker, they agreed to take him in and that Peter would be able to see his parents when it was safe. Peter, Steve and Natasha all kept this secret to themselves, but when Peter went on his school trip and was bitten by a radioactive spider he knew he would have to keep the secret of him being Spider-Man to himself.

By the time Peter left the tower, he changed into his costume and swung around Queens helping the people who needed it. Karen alerted him that there was a robbery going on at the local bank, Peter rushed his way over to the Bank to find about 11 men all stood with guns, holding people captive and at gun point while about three of them stuffed large bags full of cash.

"Hey guys, did your mother never tell you it's not nice to steal?" Peter asked before webbing one of the guns and throwing it to the side. Peter managed to web up most of the men and only got a few cuts and bruises, but his spidey sense didn't go off it time, the felt the warmth of his own blood drip down his suit, he had been shot, but it was bad, he knew so, his fast healing wouldn't be able to fix anything like this, before he feel to the ground, he web up the last man, watching as the last person leave before it all went black.

As Natasha was sat with Bruce and Clint sharpening her tools, her phone rang, she looked at the caller ID to see it was May

"Hey May what's up?"

Clint saw Nat's face drop, he looked towards Bruce, holding a face of confusion and worry

"Okay, okay thankyou May, we'll be there as soon as we can"

She hung up and rushed out. Steve was laughing about something with Bucky until he saw Natasha rush in and towards him in a state of panic

"H-He's been shot, May called he's in the hospital, we've got to go"

"OKay" was all Steve could say, Bucky, Clint, Tony, Pepper and Bruce all looked confused

"What, what's happened?" Bruce asked

"It's Peter, he's been shot" was all she said

Within 15 minuets they were down by the state hospital, Nat and Steve rushed out of the elevator and to the front desk

"Hello, how can i help you?" asked the receptionist

"P-Peter Parker" Nat said

"Yes, he's just come out of surgery, but i can't let you go unless your fam-"

"I'm his father and she's his mother"

She looked shocked but quickly told them the room number

"246, straight down the hall and to your left"

"OKay thankyou" Steve said placing his hand on his wife's shoulder, the pair ran down the hall completely forgetting that the rest of the Avengers had been stood behind them the entire time, but that didn't matter right now,

"May? May, oh May, what happened? Is he okay?" Nat asked rushing over to her

"He's okay, he's just come out of surgery, he was shot three time and they were too deep"

"Why was he at the bank and why was shot?" Steve asked her, still confused on how his son was shot

"I think i might let him explain that one, because well i don't know the full story"

"Okay, thankyou May"

As Nat looked up to Steve, before he could speak, a doctor walked over to them

"Peter Parker?" she asked making sure she had the right family

"Yes" Steve said

"Well, he's out of surgery, he's still asleep, his wounds were too deep for his genes to heal them over, but i think there is something you should know, some of his wounds were already healing over, so his blood went in for DNA testing, we found this" she explained handing over the file

"Wh-What is this?" May asked

"It seems he has similar DNA to a Spider, aswell as a super solider, now his super solider genes are still under control, however these genes, they have been implanted into him"

The doctor signed all the paperwork allowing the avengers to remain calm that his identity was still in tacked and that nothing would be leaked.

"We can't allow anyone in yet but as soon as we can we'll let you know" she said taking the folders back

"Thankyou" Nat said, as they all sat down, Tony aswell as the rest were still confused with what happened at the reception

"So are none of us going to question what happened back there?" Clint said speaking up

"Oh" Nat and Steve said in sync looking at each other

"Yea, we may have some explaining to do" Steve said sitting forward

They then explained, how they had met 15 years ago and they had dated for a few moths, before finding out they were expecting, then they kept their relationship a secret up until 6 years ago, but made them believe they had only just got together, but for Peter's sake they kept him a secret and gave him to May and Ben so he would be safe away from all of the danger of being part of the Avengers.

They must of been sat there for just over three hours that felt like three decades, Nat and Steve walked in and closed the door behind them, Nat walked over to his side, he looked okay but you could tell he wasn't, he did still have a bit of the blood left on his hands and face aswell as some of the dust that he had caught on his face when he was thrown into the wall at the bank

Steve stood with his arm around Nat's shoulder as he sat on the arm of the chair, she held Peter's hand as he was just lay there, his costume was off and he was just in a simple grey shirt and some black joggers, he was covered with the thin hospital bedsheet.

Nat and Steve both had tears in their eyes, their little boy had been shot, three times.

"Your gonna be okay, your gonna be okay Pete" Nat said quietly but loud enough for Steve and Peter to hear if he could, holding back tears

"M-Mom?" said a voice

Nat looked up to see Peter slowly opening his eyes and turning his head to look at them

"Peter? Peter"

Nat hugged him as did Steve,

"I'm sorry mom" he said quietly, his voice still just managing to come out

"Peter, why was you at the bank and why did you get shot?" His dad asked as he sat down on the bed next to his son

"I may have some explaining to do" Peter said with a small smile

Peter explained everything from the school trip to getting bit, to creating the suit to the robbery

"So that explains the DNA" Nat said looking at Steve

"Yes it does"

Once Peter had fully come around, everyone came in, May ran over to him and hugged him

"Don't ever scare me, your mom or your dad again okay?"

"Sorry May" he said with a smile before she hugged him again

"So i'm guessing they know?" Peter said turning to look at his dad

"Yeah, they do" he replied with a small chuckle
