Peter Parker & The Avengers one shots

"Do you have that?"

Morgan knew everyone else had their's; Wanda had Bucky, Steve had Nat, Tony had Pepper, Sam had Maria, Clint had Laura, Thor had Jane.

Peter was the only one who they at least thought didn't have that.

However, he did.

And no-one knew.

Peter just smile, "Yeah, I do"

"Right come on you, it's bedtime" Pepper said as she picked up her daughter and leaning her out of the room.

No-one said anything but were more confused then ever. 

"Peter?..."

"Maybe some other time" He smiled before leaving the room picking up his jacket on the way

A week later, they were all sat round the compound talking secretly, so that meant No Peter and No MJ.

"You've seen the way they look at each other, why don't we try and set them up?"

"Are you sure though? I mean, they're practically best friends, what if we ruined that?"

"He's 28 and none of us have ever been introduced into his love life which also means that he doesn't have a girlfriend, so..." Tony told them 

"What if we do the friends approach?"

"Friends approach?" Bruce asked Wanda

"You know, when Phoebe and Joey set both Rachel and Ross up and make it look as though they'd been ditched so then they'll both go to the diner or 'Central Perk' and then because we're all 'busy' then they'll just have that date with one another"

"It's not too bad of an idea, it could work, but who do we say we've set them up with and how do we get them to the diner?" Sam asked

"We could just set it in the local diner, so they're both there already" Bucky suggested 

"So we've got it sorted" Clint said chirpily

"Your forgetting one minor thing, who are we saying we're setting them up with?" Sam asked once again

"We'll figure that out on the way, come on" Tony told them before they all got up and left the room

Later that evening, they had finally managed to get MJ and Peter on their own, not together since they couldn't know.

"Hey Pete, i've got you a date sorted for Friday night" Steve told him as he passed the room which he was in

His head snapped up, "What?"

"Didn't Nat tell you, she helped me set it up, you've got a date Friday night at the local diner about 10 minuets away from here"

"What? What do you mean date?"

"I mean a date, we know your 28 and can get a date yourself but we think we found you perfect match and we couldn't let it slip"

Peter gave a nervous sigh before walking over to Steve and pulling him into the room shutting the door

"Okay, i'm about to tell you something and you have to promise me, you'll cancel the date, okay?"

"Sure" Steve smiled

"I'm married, and have been since i was 24-"

Steve just chuckled, "Good one, but your still not getting out of it"

Little did they know, MJ was saying the same thing to Sam and Wanda

"No, no no no, i can't have a date on Friday, i don't want a date on Friday"
