You play the main girl protagonist, Tom being the main boy protagonist. To raise money in your local town, the local diner held a 40's/50's night.

It was finally the big night, they was holding a large 40's/50's night down by the local dance hall which wasn't too far from Retro Diner.

You walked over to one of the booths, two people had just walked in, the place was packed with people dressed in 40's and 50's outfits, these two, they were in what looked like, 40's or 50's air force or army jackets almost (think Bucky and Steve in the first avenger, that sort)
"What can i get you lads today?"
"Just burger, fries and a coke please" the brunette ordered
"And you sir?" you asked the man sat opposite him
"The same please"
You took down their order before returning just under 10 minuets later with their order
"Anything else i can get you?" You asked them, they politely said no thankyou, allowing you to get back to your job
You had been on your feet and was serving booth after booth after booth, until it came to one of the final ones, your bullies, just because you didn't like what they liked, they took a liking into bulling you, in school and out of school, you was in your last year of collage before you was about to move on with your career, you already had a job set up, all you needed to do was graduate and then you was ready to go.
"Oh look at who it is" one of them taunted
"What can i get you today?"
"Anything with no carbs, not sugar and no fat" On of the girls, Eva, said as she placed a menu down
"Water" you say bluntly
"You know you shouldn't talk to us like that" A boy says, Jack
"Just get us all a soda each"
Tom and Harrison, the two people she had served before, watched as this all happened, and they didn't like it
She came back with the soda's, and placed them down
"Ugh! i didn't order this, go and get me a diet soda" Eva said shoving the glass to her face
She took it back in her hand, but when she turned round, she felt someone's foot collide with hers. she went flying but before she could hit the ground, she felt someone catch her
You opened your eyes to see the brunette from before, he caught you and you didn't smash the drink
"Are you okay?" he asked you
"Y-Yeah, thanks" you say still a little startled
He helped you back onto your feet, you look behind you to see your bullies with their jaws practically on the floor,
You quickly rushed off and changed the soda to a diet, however Bella, your best friend, came and took it out of your hand
"Come on, we're going dancing" she told you
"What, no, i-I've got to serve up here" you tell her
"No, come on, those lads from before, the one who caught you, the blonde one, Harrison, well he and his friend invited us to go dancing, plus your one of the best, come on, someone else will take care of that" Bella took the soda out of your hand before shoving you into the back, allowing you to get dressed into

One you was ready, she pulled you outside and the four of you all walked towards the dance hall
"So, who were those? From before?" Tom asked you
"Oh, nobodies" You say waving it off like it was nothing
"They are kids from school, they've done nothing but torment her for the past what 16 years of her life"
"Really? Why haven't you done nothing" Harrison asked you
"I've tried but then they hit down 10 times harder" you explain, but the time you get there, Becca goes and orders 4 soda's before bringing them back to the table, as you was all sat chatting, rock around the clock came on
Harrison and Tom pulled you and Bella up onto the dance floor, and it wasn't long before you both were dancing.
That night, you and Tom were walking down the road towards the beach, it wasn't that long away, you had been in the car for about 20 minuets before you both walked down, it was completely empty, you had taken your shoes off and your socks, so had Tom, you both walked down the beach, your hands interconnected with one another.
After a while you both sat down but not for long since he pulled you up in for a slow dance, the sun was about to set, when you both leaned in, your lips connecting, it was amazing!
You and Tom went out together but was never exactly official, but you was, but after 8 months, you and Tom both lost contact with one another, only to find it once again, all those years later...
