TUESDAY

_______

JIMIN DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN RAYNE ASKED HIM TO DINNER LATER THAT AFTERNOON. He couldn't remember the last time the two of them had gotten together for a meal, they'd both been so busy over the past few years, that they'd really only managed to catch up over the phone. He knew he shouldn't be, but he felt nervous as he made his way inside the somewhat fancy restaurant. Rayne had told him to dress nicely, and he didn't think it had anything to do with her choice in dining.

Jimin smiled warmly at the lady standing behind a small podium, and gave her his name. She nodded once, and motioned for him to follow her through the rows of tables and booths. He could see Rayne sitting in a booth next to a young looking man with long-ish black hair. He was laughing rather loudly, eyes crinkled closed and his mouth open wide. He recognized him from Namjoon's office, as the man had a photo of him on his desk. He didn't know his name however.

Across from them were two younger males, one with dark brown hair that was curly and other with black hair that was both short and long at the same time, making him look somewhat edgy. Jimin couldn't help but notice that the curly haired boy was dressed head to toe in luxury clothing. "Jimin! You made it!" Rayne exclaimed, hopping up from her seat to give him a hug. She was wearing a nice, red dress that was almost a t-shirt and white heels.

"You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're wearing a t-shirt,"he teased, whispering in her ear. He knew she was rolling her eyeseven if he couldn't see her do it. "I'm serious," he added, when she didn't reply, "You're ass is probably hanging out,"

Rayne giggled, and pulled out of the hug. "Jin scoot over a bit, please,"

The man who's picture was on Namjoon's desk moved further down the booth, allowing room for both Jimin and Rayne to take a seat. "So, Jimin, this is Seokjin, but you can call him Jin or mom – don't give me that look, he's a motherly figure – and then we have Taehyung, and Jungkook," Rayne said, introducing everyone to him. "Guys, this is Jimin,"

"Hi Jimin!"

"Hey,"

"He's so tiny," Jin murmured looking him up and down. "Where'd you find him?"

"High school," Rayne piped up before Jimin could respond. "Don't let his height fool you, he's a vicious person," Jimin laughed and ruffled her hair.

"That's because you're a pain in my ass, Ray," Jimin teased.

"Ain't that the truth," Taehyung snickered. Rayne gave him a look and tossed a french fry at him. "Hey! I was joking! You know we love you!"

"Yeah!"

"So how do you all meet?" Jimin asked, looking to his best friend.

"Through training," Jin said. "But we'll talk in a minute the waiter is back to take your order,"

Jimin ordered his food quickly before facing Jin again. "Training?" Jimin questioned.

"Yeah, we were all trainees together," Jungkook added, taking a bite of his food. Jimin couldn't help but notice how young the boy way. He looked like a baby. He couldn't be much younger than he was. "And now we're a group,"

"Might be," Taehyung corrected. "We have to get through this first, and if Mr. Min agrees that we work well together then it's official," Jimin knotted his brows together, so after taking a sip of her wine, Rayne jumped into an explanation.

"Namjoon and Hoseok were dividing people into groups yesterday. There are three boy groups, ours is co-ed and there are two soloists. We have to prepare a song and dance routine for Friday and perform it so that he can see how well we work together. If everything goes well then we get to form an actual group and debut!" Jimin eyes widened, and while he felt a slight pang of jealously, he was absolutely over the moon at the great news.

"Congratulations!"he exclaimed, pulling her in for a side hug. "I'm so proud of you!"

"Thanks Jimin," She replied. "That's why I invited you to dinner, so you could do a pre-celebration with us. We've made it this far,"

"And here's to making it regardless because I know we will anyways," Jin said, raising his glass. Jimin joined in on the toast, and they all drank. "So Jimin, Joonie says you're a great secretary, and I mean that in the nicest way possible," he added, so that Jimin knew he wasn't making fun of him.

"Must be, cause I haven't been fired yet," Jimin stated.

"Wait you work at the company too?" Jungkook asked. "How come I've never seen you around then?"

"Cause he's busy doing stuff for Mr. Min," Taehyung told him, slinging an arm around his shoulder. "He's the whole reason that man has been in a good mood the past few days,"

"Wow...you've managed to please Mr. Min.....are you a god or something?"

Jimin laughed again. "No, just...good I guess? It's not that hard to do, there's just a lot to be done. Although I'm not sure how any one can fuck up ordering a black coffee. It's black nothing else. No sugar, not cream, no mound of whipped cream and colourful candy bobs that make it taste sweeter than my grandmother on Christmas,"

Jin, Taehyung and Jungkook laughed loudly. "Oh he's good. Please don't get fired, I'd be so sad to see you go," Jungkook giggled. When the laughter had died down, Jimin turned the conversation onto the rest of them.

"Jin, how do you know Namjoon? He's got a picture of you on his desk,"

"He does?! Which one? Is a flattering one? Joonie has a knack for finding embarrassing photos from my high school days," Jin said in a panic.

"No, it's a nice one of you smiling," Jimin stated.

"Oh good," the older sighed.

"Namjoon is Jin's fiance," Rayne said.

"Is that allowed?" Jimin asked, confused.

"Well it's highly unprofessional, but Namjoon and I were already dating before I became a trainee, and ever after I had become one, I never told him because I was afraid that I wasn't going to make it and I didn't want him to think I was a failure or something. It was actually kind of funny when he found out. He showed up to my callback and was really confused as to why I was there. The rest is kinda history. He proposed just last year."

"When's the wedding?"

"Not for another few months. We agreed sometime over the summer, when things won't really be as busy."

"That's really sweet," Jimin said.

"Joonie is such a romantic," Jin said with a dreamy look.

"I wish I had a boyfriend," Jungkook sighed. "Instead, I have Taehyung,"

"Hey!" Taehyung protested. "I'm a fantastic roommate! I can cook!"

"Ramen doesn't count," Jin stated a matter of fact, shaking his head at the younger.

"Yes it does!"

hi hi I'm not dead just merely bored out of my fucking mind and to pass the time I've been trying to binge read all seven Harry Potter books in Seven Days. I'll try to updated more regularly though. Please enjoy this filler chapter.
