Chapter 9

Sky: "What do we got?" she asks when they arrive at the ambulance

Stan: "Jacob Nolston, 47, status post a double bypass surgery two weeks ago, now presents febrile with pain and tenderness in his surgical incisions."

Ray: "We got a 10-car pileup on the freeway. You mind taking him from here?"

Sky: "Oh, you got it." she

Callie: "Okay, I need a gurney for the transfer."

Cristina and Izzie: "I'll page Hahn."

Bailey: "Sounds like we all agree. Get him inside and flip for it."

Stan: "You're in good hands, Mr. Nolston."

Jacob: "Thank you, gentlemen." he says as they two paramedics head back into the ambulance

Callie: "On three. One, two, three."

Cristina: "When are you gonna realize you're in over your head?"

Izzie: "When are you gonna realize that you don't own the cardio department?"

Cristina: "He's my patient."

Izzie: "I got here first. Dibs."

Meredith: "Hey, you guys." she says seeing an ambulance heading towards them

Cristina: "You can't call dibs on a human being."

Meredith: "You guys, I think we should move." she says seeing as how the ambulance wasn't slowing down

Izzie: "Let go of the gurney."

Cristina: "You let go."

Meredith: "Move!" she yells out as they look over and they rush into the hospital just as the ambulance slams into the other one making it flip onto it's roof

Jacob: "Arrh! Ah, my leg!"

Izzie: "You okay?"

Cristina: "I'm good. Let's go." she says as they wheel Jacob into the hospital and Sky, Bailey, and Callie come out to them

Sky: "Call the fire department! Get some gurneys out here!"

Callie: "Ray. Ray, can you hear me?" she asks as her and Meredith check on the ambulance that got flipped over

Ray: "Stan? Stan? Oh, my god. Stan, open your eyes, man. Oh, man. Don't scare me like that." he breathes out in relief when he opens his eyes

Meredith: "Let's get you guys outta there."

Callie: "No, stop. Stop! Don't touch anything. Don't touch anything until fire stabilizes the rig. These doors aren't gonna budge."

Sky: "Uh, Torres, I need your help here!"

Callie: "Okay, on my way!" she calls back before turning back to Meredith "All right, listen. Just page somebody to help you and keep them talking. You got this?"

Meredith: "Yeah."

Stan: "Don't leave. Don't."

Meredith: "Okay. Somebody page the chief."

Bailey: "Hey, you okay?" she asks opening the back of the other ambulance to see a paramedic and a patient inside

Shane: "No, but I'm not as bad off as this guy. He started coding after we picked him up. Mary had some kind of seizure."

Sky: "Mary? Mary, come on, girl. Wake up. I need some help here." she calls out as she opens the front door and checks on Mary as Callie runs over to her
