Chapter 23

George: "Dr. Rivers...I'm not on trauma today?"

Sky: "Follow me, O'Malley." she leads him into a room

Owen: "Lieutenant Lowell, I'm Dr. hunt. We spoke on the phone."

Lowell: "Major Hunt, it's good to finally meet you. My C.O. has told me a lot about you."

Owen: "Ah, you shouldn't believe anything Steve Mason tells you."

Sky: "O'Malley as requested." she opens the door for George to come inside before walking away

Mark: "Hey, so...I was thinking that I'd start looking for a condo." he comes over to the nurses desk where Sky is standing

Sky: "Aw that's great. And then you'd finally have a place of your own. Can move out of that hotel"

Mark: "Actually, I was, you know, thinking maybe you'd, uh, you'd come with me."

Sky: "Absolutely. no, I-I...I would love to see it. I'm so happy for you." she smiles at him before walking away and Derek clears his throat gaining Mark's attention

Mark: "How much of that did you hear?"

Derek: "You mean the part where you asked her to move in with you, or the part where she shot you down?"

Mark: "Mm." he hums 

Derek: "I was here for both. By the way, it's just way too early for you to be moving in with Sky. You don't have to do everything I do."

Mark: "This is not about you. I have my own future to think about. life is short. Look at what's going on with Stevens."

Derek: "Don't worry about Stevens. I got a plan." he walks away from him

Sky: "You paged me chi-what is all of this?" she asls coming into the room where she sees Bailey and Richard using machines

Richard: "The da Vinci S.I.H.D surgical system."

Sky: "No way are you serious?" she asks wide eyes as she comes to look over Richard's shoulder

Richard: "Check this out. Let me retract that small bowel so you'll have better visualization."

Bailey: "You know what, chief? Thanks to Leo, you don't have to."

Sky: "Leo?"

Bailey: "Leonardo...da vinci" she chuckles "Here, here, watch this. See? 540 degrees of wristed movement. Can't do that with a laparoscope."

Richard: "Or in open surgery. Feels pretty good, doesn't it?" he asks as Bailey starts making lightsaber noises "Dr. Bailey, are you making lightsaber noises?"

Bailey: "Uh, not anymore, sir." she clears her throat 

Sky: "You know, Dr. Chalikonda at Cleveland clinic is doing single-incision gallbladder removal through the belly button." she says as Richard looks up at her

Richard: "Really?"

Sky: "Yep."

Richard: "We could try that on the next one...if the two of you are up for it."

Sky: "Seriously?"

Bailey: "Don't tease me, sir."

Richard: "Oh, I'm not. Why should Dr. Chalikonda have all the fun?" he asks as Bailey giggles before going back to making lightsaber noises and Sky shakes her head at her in amusement
