Mark Dies pt. 2

Woman: "Derek Shepherd...multiple hand fractures with a median nerve injury. Arizona Robbins...open femur fracture with resultant above-knee amputation. Sky Rivers...removal of the spleen. Lexie Grey...deceased. Mark Sloan...deceased" she states making Sky tense up a little before sniffling "This doesn't include extreme..." her voice trails off as Sky blanks her out

Man: "...wish for me to extend their deepest condolences."

Derek: "How is...how is the investigation going?"

Meredith: "Have they found what caused the crash?"

Man: "The investigation could take years. That's why we want to help you put this tragedy behind you."

Woman: "I think you mean, your clients would like to put it behind them."

Man: "So I am authorized at this time to propose a one time settlement. Bayview Aeronautics takes your loss seriously" he hands Derek a piece of paper and he looks at it before passing it around the table "Now the settlement agreement must be unanimous, and it releases Bayview Aeronautics from any and all other claims, known or unknown, but...most important, it will allow you to put this painful time behind you and move on with your lives."

Sky: "Alright buddy. There you go." she puts Hayes in his bed where he quickly falls asleep. She turns the light off and lightly closes the door going into her room. When she walks in she looks over at Mark's side sighing at it before walking out grabbing a pillow and blanket from the closet and goes into Hayes' room where she falls asleep on the ground

Callie: "Hey." she knocks on the door as she comes into Sky's apartment

Sky: "Hi." she finishes putting Hayes' shoes on

Callie: "You ready?"

Sky: "Yeah." she grabs her bag from the table and sees the letter Mark left for her making her look at it before walking over to pick up Hayes as they walk out the room

Richard: "Morning, Dr. Bailey." he greets her with a smile when he comes in the room and she sighs

Bailey: "I cannot get used to having them in the attendings' lounge."

Richard: "Well, I'm still getting used to having you in here" he says and the door opens to show Sky "Morning Dr. Rivers." he smiles and she looks at him before grabbing a banana off the table and walks out the room leaving him to sigh

Bailey: "Just...give her some time."

Richard: "I don't mind. I'm just worried. She hasn't processed all of her feelings yet. If she doesn't let them out soon then she'll just explode. And not in a good way."

Owen: "Hey. How's your first day back going?" he asks coming over to the desk where Sky is sitting at

Sky: "Uh fine."

Owen: "You not scrubbing in for anything?"

Sky: "No." she shakes her head

Owen: "I thought Bailey cleared you for operating."

Sky: "She did" she nods "Just don't have a surgery. So...I'm just working on schedules."

Owen: "Alright." he nods before walking off and she watches him before sighing

Bailey: "Look at this! Kepner is doing an umbilical hernia her first week back." she points to the OR board as Sky stands beside her
