Chapter 13

Sky: "Dr. Sloan." she walks alongside him down the hall

Mark: "Dr. Rivers" he gives her a sly look before opening the door to an oncall room "After you, Dr. Rivers."

Sky: "Thank you, Dr. Sloan."

Mark: "Argh!" he yells out in pain

Sky: "Oh, my god! Oh, my god. Are you okay?"

Mark: "No." he groans out in pain 

Sky: "It's bent...in the middle."

Mark: "Get Torres!"

Sky: "Oh-"

Mark: "Go!" he yells as she hurries to get dressed and goes out the room as he whines in pain

Sky: "Oh! Callie, thank god you're here." she says when she sees the woman walking down the hall  

Callie: "Yeah, I'm headed down to the pit. I got a 911 page. Page ortho if you need anything."

Sky: "Uh, no, no, it was me. I-I paged you 911 for Dr. Sloan. He's the emergency him-himself. It's...it's on his person."

Callie: "Wait, Mark's hurt?"

Sky: "Yes. No. Yes. He's badly injured in...in a bad way that is bad for anyone who's a man, but for Dr. Sloan in particular. Um, he may...he may have broken a-a bone."

Mark: "A bone?"

Sky: "He broke a bone. I-I...I broke his bone." she whispers to her 

Callie: "You're kidding, right?" she scoffs playfully before seeing Sky shake her head no and the urgent look on her face making both women hurry down the hall back towards the room

Derek: "Sky. Can I talk to you for a second?" he stops the two women from walking down the hall and she turns to face him with wide eyes

Sky: "Uh you know I'm kind of busy right now. Have something very important to do."

Derek: "It'll just take a second." he holds out a ring for her to see 

Sky: "It's a ring." she breathes out 

Derek: "It's from my mother. Oh, it's...it's from me. It was my mother's, and I'm gonna give it to Meredith soon. So what I'm looking for is an opinion on whether she's gonna like the ring, or I should have the...the setting redone to something more modern."

Sky: "I don't think I'm the right person to ask about this. I don't really know Meredith like that."

Derek: "Yeah I get that. Honestly I just needed somebody to talk to about this."

Sky: "Um...why don't you ask Cristina about the ring...and I can help you plan a proposal or something."

Derek: "Okay. Thanks."

Sky: "Yeah no problem." she goes to walk away but he stops her

Derek: "Hey are you okay?"

Sky: "Yeah, just...have an emergency that I need to get to. Right now...I'll talk to you later." she rejoins Callie as they continue to hurry down the hall

Owen: "Yeah, that's a penile fracture." he says after Sky pages him to the oncall room 

Mark: "Oh, I'm gonna kill myself." he pants out

Owen: "We should operate, and then you can kill yourself."

Mark: "Oh, God."

Callie: "Can you do it?"
