Ghidorah stood tall, his gaze focused on the group around him. He smirked at the heap they were in, letting a chuckle escape his throat.

"Come now. A rag tag group of humans, Faunus and Kaiju against one monster, how pathetic." Ghidorah said condescendingly. "You have no hope of winning this battle. But, I give you credit, you bled and wounded me. I give you all full marks for that. But simple wounds does not a battle win."

Muto struggled to her feet, sporting a defiant glare aimed at Ghidorah.

If looks could kill, the Destroyer of Worlds would be dead thrice over.

"We didn't just wound you... We proved something." She said. "That we can hurt you... And if we can hurt you... We can kill you." Ghidorah's expression darkened.

"And yet you cling to the deception known as hope... How... Annoying." He said. "Hope blinds you to reality, and the truth is you're about to die."

Muto didn't back down, this served to annoy Ghidorah more.

Ruby got to her feet and pointed Crescent Rose at the Kaiju.

"That's what humans do. We hold onto hope, that in the face of despair, we'll live to see tomorrow." She said. "And that's something you can't take from us." Ghidorah's glared in clear annoyance.

"And that's why you have no future." He said. Ghidorah fired a Gravity Beam that hit Muto in the chest and sent her flying out of the hole he came through.

"Muto!" Ruby yelled, before she was kicked by Ghidorah. "You should worry about yourself, child." He said.

He raised his hand to kill her, but stumbled when the tower shook.

Ghidorah growled in annoyance. "Now what?" He seethed. A massive claw made itself visible and rammed into the wall, what followed was a warbling roar, and the owner of both the limb and roar reared her head.

Muto roared at Ghidorah, very much livid about being shot out of a building and sent plummeting to her death.

"How? How did you return to your true form!?" Ghidorah roared. Muto growled, then drove her massive leg into the room.

Ghidorah tried to stop the blow, but he was crushed into the wall outside of Ironwood's office. Muto removed her leg from the wall, and saw Ghidorah, implanted in the wall but still alive.

"Okay." He muttered. "I don't know how you managed to do that, but it won't matter here soon."

He then flew towards Muto and hit her in the nose. This only annoyed her, and she swatted Ghidorah away from her and back into the office.

Ghidorah fired his Gravity Beams at Muto, successfully getting her off the building and causing her to plummet.

Muto caught the building again, now thoroughly miffed at the Golden Demise, but her attention changed to the herd of Grimm heading to Mantle.

Ghidorah slammed into the wall Muto hit him into before and this time, he broke through it.

The impact actually knocked him out for a moment, allowing the group to catch their breath.

"Okay. He's down for now, but it won't be long before he wakes up." Mothra explained. "I'm sensing many dark signals heading this way. The Grimm may be heading here." A roar was heard and the lights flickered for a second.

But that second was all Ghidorah needed to strike.

Jaune jolted back as a Gravity Beam tore through his chest, surprising the group, and him.

Jaune's world grew silent, muting the desperate cries of his friends and teammates, and as he fell, the apparition of the deceased fourth member of Team JNPR looked at him.

Pyrrha smiled at Jaune, and extended her hand to him. "I've been waiting, my valiant knight." She said. "Pyrrha..." was all Jaune could say, before he left the world of the living.

Ghidorah walked to Jaune's body, the hole in his chest created a pool of blood.

Ghidorah then kicked Jaune's corpse out of the hole, in a grievous show of disrespect.

The King of Terror then started laughing, the tone of which grew more and more sadistic with each passing second.

"MONSTER!" Mothra screeched. She readied a spell that held every last ounce of hatred she felt at that precise moment. "I'LL REND THE FLESH FROM YOUR BONES!" Ruby surged forward, swinging madly at Ghidorah.

Her rage combined with the loss of another friend sent her over the edge, and as her tears stung at her eyes, she struck Ghidorah again and again.

However, her weapon could only endure so much, and upon her final attack, Crescent Rose snapped in half.

Ghidorah used the momentary shock to grab Ruby and throw her back, letting an amused chuckle escape his throat.

"Brave fool. Do you know who I am?" He asked. "The murderer of my friend!" Ruby snapped. Ghidorah smirked.

"I AM KING GHIDORAH! THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS!" He boasted. "You will taste no victory here."

"You will taste your own BLOOD!" Ruby yelled.

Jaune Arc is now dead. He died as he lived, with a hole in his heart. As always, comment, rate, and leave advise so I can improve. Next one out soon!
