-Mantle, Team Godzilla Base.-

Godzilla smashed a training bot as he vented his rage. He couldn't fathom what drove Ironwood to create that mechanical monster, but what was worse... was the fact that he went behind Godzilla's back to do so.

The Kaiju roared in rage as he destroyed another piece of training equipment.

"Damn him..." he seethed. "That bastard made that thing, not knowing what it will do!"

"Hang on." Ruby interjected. "General Ironwood must've had a reason to hide Mechagodzilla from us."

Weiss put her hand on her girlfriend's shoulder. "Not everything has a reason, Ruby." She said. "The logical thing to say is that he made a mistake."

Mothra stood in the door of the old pharmacy the group was using as a residence and sighed.

"Whatever the case, it cost the General dearly." She said. "He betrayed Godzilla's trust, and that is something you can't easily regain."

Ruby and Weiss continued to watch a raging Godzilla continue destroying robots.

"I kinda feel bad for the robots." Ruby said.

"You and me both." Weiss laughed.

Godzilla huffed as he started calming down. He looked at the robot carnage he caused and stood silently.

"Feel better?" Yang asked.

"No." Godzilla replied.

"C'mon, it's just a machine, what harm could it do?" Nora asked.

"Why did you have to ask that?" Blake groaned.

"This is not a joke!" Godzilla shouted. "That 'machine-'"

"Relax, Big G, we know why you're upset. But do you wanna hear an actual joke?" Yang asked.

"No." Godzilla grumbled.

"Knock knock." Nora said.

No response.

"Um, you're supposed to say 'who's there'." Nora clarified.

"Why would I give away my location? I would simply smash through the door and face my assailant." Godzilla replied.

"Urgh, you're hopeless..." Yang groaned.

The three left the Kaiju alone and confused by their attempts to humor him.

Suddenly, he smelled something that was new to him, but also strangely familiar.

Ren walked toward Godzilla holding a bottle of sake and two drinking glasses.

"I brought some sake." He said.

"Sake?" Godzilla asked. "You have this in this world?"

"Yes." Ren replied. "Why?"

"No reason." Godzilla said. "Just that... it's scent reminded me of my home. Of Earth. From what I understand, it's a drink that's enjoyed with company."

The two took a seat and Ren poured some sake into the saucers they were going to use.

Godzilla took a sip, before he started gulping it down. He let out a content sigh afterwards.

"That's good." He said. "It's nice to have a taste of home, as you humans would say."

"What is Earth, exactly?" Ren asked, pouring some more sake into Godzilla's saucer.
