Chapter Nineteen: Ancient Rivals

Ghidorah growled at the group below him. He didn't know how he transformed, but he would find out later.

"RUN!" Rodan shrieked. Ghidorah roared and started breaking himself free from the crater he was stuck in.

The rubble he threw out while doing so crushed several Atlesian soldiers, with a few robots being crushed as well.

Ghidorah roared at the humans fleeing before him, and lowered one of his heads towards them.

"FIRE!" Ironwood ordered. The remaining soldiers fired at Ghidorah, but the rounds bounced uselessly off him.

Ghidorah's middle head hissed at his left before all three rose up. Their throats started glowing yellow and their eyes lit up as well.

"Oh shit." One of the soldiers said. Ghidorah let out a short screech before firing his Gravity Beams at the soldiers, obliterating them in seconds.

A stray bolt arced away from the impact area and hit the Bullhead behind the group, disabling it.

The left head started licking the snow Ghidorah had kicked up, before the middle head hissed at it to focus. The left head, (we'll call him Kevin) grumbled in response.

Ghidorah roared as he made his way the group's transport, but was suddenly blindsided by Muto. The King of Terror growled as he stood back up.

Muto roared at Ghidorah in defiance, to which Ghidorah just huffed in amusement. Muto then hit him with one of her forelimbs, clocking Ghidorah in his three faces.

Ghidorah wasted no time in countering his opponent, biting down on her limb, he pulled Muto closer to him. Muto roared in pain as Ghidorah bit down on her other front leg and her neck.

Muto still fought back by kicking Ghidorah in the stomach, to little effect.

Ghidorah proceeded to pull Muto in three separate directions, trying to tear her apart. Muto howled in agony as she felt her joints cracking.

Muto then coughed up blood as Ghidorah continued to tear her limb from limb, but a blast to the back caused him to let her go.

Ghidorah turned to face this new nuisance, now thoroughly annoyed by this interruption.

A white Leviathan stood in front of the Three headed Dragon, and the one who summoned it hoped it would be enough to beat him.

Muto had reverted back to her Faunus form, she was badly injured and out of the fight now, as Ghidorah and the Leviathan squared off against each other.

Ruby and the others ran to get her, uncaring of how dangerous the situation was at the moment.

"You okay!?" Yang asked. Muto groaned as she was picked up. "I feel like Hedorah." She said weakly.

Ghidorah dodged another attack from the Leviathan and bit down on the same limbs he had on Muto.

This time however, he tore it limb from limb and threw the body parts in his mouth down to the ground as the summoned Grimm dissipated.

The middle head looked at the right head who growled its response at it, then when the middle head looked at Kevin, it grabbed him by a horn to get him to focus.

Ghidorah roared and made his way to Mantle, by now the sky was alive as lightning streaked across the sky and a blizzard raged.

This was all Ghidorah's doing, as his very presence seemed to distort the weather.

Rodan fired his Uranium Beam at him, which did nothing to hurt Ghidorah, but it did get his attention.

Rodan glared at the King of Terror and prepared to be bait, but suddenly Ghidorah started looking around, as if he had sensed something.

The group looked confused, until Mothra spotted a sapphire blue light coming from the crater Atlas had made.

She knew who it was immediately, as the rubble gave way to reveal massive spines that rose from the crater.

Godzilla had transformed, and climbed out of the crater he was buried in. He wore a visage of rage as he growled at Ghidorah.

Ghidorah returned the gesture as he faced his rival, the two exchanged glares as the two rekindled their ancient feud.

Ghidorah rose to his hind legs in a threat display that showcased the sized difference between the two.

Godzilla roared at Ghidorah, who returned the roar with one of his own, then the two stomped towards each other.

"COME ON! THIS WAY!" Mothra yelled. The group ran as both kings collided into one another, Godzilla grabbed one of Ghidorah's heads and bit it.

As the group made their way to Mantle, Godzilla slammed the head he had targeted into the ground, before hitting Ghidorah in the chest with his tail.

Ghidorah bit Godzilla's arm but was rewarded for his efforts with a claw swipe across his chest.

Ghidorah retaliated by firing a Gravity Beam point blank at Godzilla's chest, which sent the King of the Monsters stumbling backwards and falling to the ground.

The group kept running as Godzilla rose to his feet and roared at Ghidorah. Ghidorah just roared in a taunting manner at his opponent.

The two resumed their fight as Godzilla charged at Ghidorah, sending the three headed Kaiju skidding back a few feet.

Ghidorah responded with a gust of wind that he created using his wings, strong enough to stop Godzilla in his tracks.

Ghidorah then hit Godzilla with another Gravity Beam that hit his chest.

Now thoroughly done with being shot by Gravity Beams, Godzilla's spines started glowing.

Godzilla then fired his Heat Ray at Ghidorah, but the Planet Eater wasn't your average Kaiju, and dodged the attack and countered by firing Gravity Beams at Godzilla.

These managed to knock Godzilla off his feet still firing his Heat Ray.

The group had to stop dead to avoid being roasted as Godzilla's attack shot right in front of them.

Godzilla stopped firing his Heat Ray before he was sent roaring back into the crater he came from.

Winter and Ruby ran to Mantle, but suddenly Ghidorah chomped down on Winter and the ground she stood on.

"WINTER!" Weiss screamed in anguish. Ghidorah loudly gulped, then turned his gaze to Ruby.

He could use another snack.

Ruby was frozen with fear. This was it, she was going to be eaten, she was going to die.

Before Ghidorah could chow down on the leader of Team RWBY, a shot hit hit one of his faces.

Ghidorah growled as Atlesian ships came into view, and fired at the King of Terror.

Ghidorah brought his wing up to block the barrage of attacks, causing many to veer far off course.

A stray cannon round landed and exploded next to Ruby, sending her flying into a wall.

Now dazed, Ghidorah went to fire at the vessels, but he started glowing gold as his time started running out.

Godzilla climbed out of crater at the same time as well, leaving the Three Headed Dragon no choice but to retreat for now.

Ghidorah spread his massive wings, then took to the skies.

Godzilla roared at Ghidorah in rage, and that was the last thing Ruby saw or heard before consciousness failed her.
