RUNNING
FOR MILES
"Oh my god did you hear about the new kid?" Hale asked as he quickly rushed up to Lakyn and me who were waiting for Hale, Blaire, and Lila in the hallway that led to the cafeteria.
Lakyn screwed up his face in disgust as he looked up from his phone, "How many damn new kids do me need?" he said as he then looked over at me with a smirk, "No offence."
"None taken." I half laughed as his half rude remark went straight over my head.
I was so used to Lakyn's mean jokes and side comments that they kind of just go straight through one ear and out the other, I know that he doesn't actually mean it, I guess it's him trying to show that he does like or care about you, in his own twisted way.
"I heard from Poppy that he's hot, smoking hot." Blaire contributed to the conversation as she examined her unpainted nails.
"Shut up no one asked you." Lakyn snapped as she rolled her eyes.
"Apparently he moved here a day or two ago and he's loaded with money." Hale said as he leaned against the locker that was right next to me.
"He's pretty much an upgraded version of Hale." Blaire pretty much purred out.
"Excuse me?" Hale questioned, "No one and I mean no one in this whole place except for Sam Rivers is better than me." he stayed and then looked at Lakyn, "And you to Lake."
"Thank you." he said gruffly.
Blair drooled, "god I would jump his bones."
"Don't you have a sewer to be running around in?" Lakyn asked her.
Hale laughed, sending Blaire a disgusted look, "Yeah and not that I care but shouldn't you be eating Conner's face off somewhere?"
"For your information, we broke up." she pouted.
"I don't blame the poor guy." Lakyn snorted as he stifled a laugh.
"Shut up Lakyn." Blaire yelled and then her face scrunched up as she looked at each of us, "Where's Lila?"
We all looked at each other and realized that Lila was in fact nowhere to be seen and that was unusual for her, she is normally the first person here and waiting for us well Lakyn but for once he was the first one here along with myself.
"Right here."
We all turned around swiftly, I'm pretty sure all of our necks should have snapped at how fast we spun to the sound of her voice.
As we all looked at her, we soon realized that she was in fact not alone and the person, well boy standing next to her was the demon that has been haunting and messing with my dreams for the last few months.
"Guys meet..." she paused, "What was your name again?"
"Boston, Boston Kain." the words pretty much threw daggers into my chest at the sound of that horrifying voice.
What in the world is he doing here and how did he find me?
It was as if everything around me had stiffly frozen in its exact spot as if Elsa was here and lost control of her powers. Though the only two things that seemed to move was me and the devil himself that stood in front of me dressed in the schools very posh uniform.
"Eden, darling." he paused as he slowly looked me up and down with an excited yet relieved grin, "I've finally found you."
"No, this isn't real." I whispered as I looked around me.
