"Mom, Noah is coming to see her," I told her, my mom smiled at me before handing me, Delilah. "So you talked to him?" She asked me. "No, we argued and then made up," I tell her.
"Quinn is also coming around, like old times," I tell her. "Don't mess up the house, I have work." My mom told me, kissing my cheek and then Delilahs. "Bye."
A couple of minutes after dressing her I heard a knock on the door. "Who could that be?" I asked Delilah in a baby voice, I grabbed her pacifier on the way to the door and answered it.
Puck stood there, staring at her in shock, he smiled as he looked down at her.
"Come in," I say, he walked in slowly. "She looks so much like you." He tells me. I smile as I looked down at Delilah who was looking up at Puck.
"She has your goofy smile," I told him. He looked at me and then back at her.
"Do you want to hold her?" I asked him, he nodded his head and took her from my arms gently.
"She's perfect."
"She's our perfect mistake," I say, he chucked a little and then we both sat down on the couch.
"If she cries just sing her once upon a time. She loves sleeping beauty." I tell him as he watched her look around and move her arms, making him chuckle.
"Quinn is coming round later, she wants to see her," I tell Puck, he nodded his head in reply before putting Delilah on her play mat.
"She can reach and grasp stuff now, and sit up on her own but she hasn't crawled yet. My mom said I crawled at seven months but I am not ready for her to crawl yet." I tell him. I stood up and picked her up, she grabbed a toy on the way.
"Want to see the nursery?" I asked him.
"Sure." He said standing up and wiping his hands on his back pockets.
I walked up the stairs carefully and turned to the left were her nursery was. Puck smiled when he noticed the picture of me, him and Delilah when she was born.
"I look awful," I tell him, as I noticed him staring at it. "You don't and besides you just had a baby." He answered back causing me to chuckle.
"Worst pain in my life, never again."
"You say that but people always come back to me." I rolled my eyes before putting Delilah down on a rocking swing.
"I would love for you to have some nights of the week. I can't keep you away from her like that, she needs to know her dad." I tell him.
"I would love to, I can make a part of my room a nursery. My mom wouldn't mind and Sarah wants to meet her." I smiled as he brought up Sarah when I lived with Puck we were very close.
"Is she hard work?" Puck asked me, I shook my head.
"Even though we are her parents, she is really good at night. Doesn't cry unless she needs feeding." I tell him.
"I'm sorry." Puck said I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here for you when you needed me the most when Delilah needed me the most. I'm her dad and I promised you I wasn't deadbeat and I would take care of her."
"It was my fault as Puck, we both argued a lot after we had her. It wasn't good for us, or for her. We did the right thing." I replied, he smiled down at her.
