32. Dazed and Confused part 1

Jungkook was gone for the day, leaving Jimin and Sarang in Seoul while he travels to Busan.

Thesame day, Jin asked Jimin out for a lunch.

" Thanks for meeting me here. Did I not interrupt any of your work today? "

" No do- " Jimin paused when Jin suddenly raises his brow, probably questioning how Jimin is about to address him. They've talked about this many times already so he was hoping Jimin will grant his wish. " No, you didn't hyung. " Jimin rephrased.

Jin smiles, satisfied with the response. " Good. " He gestures the younger to sit down as he calls for the waiter. They decided to go with steak.

" I'm just glad I had the chance to talk with you alone. These days, it is becoming hard to snatch you out of my brother's watch. " Jin laughs.

" He's an idiot. " Jimin scoffs. " My lovely idiot. " He added.

Jin makes a soft murmuring sound. " Thank you for loving my brother. He is one lucky guy. "

" But I'm luckier, gay. " Jimin deadpaned.

Suddenly Jin bursted out, laughing loudly as if someone is wiping a glass window nearby. " You know what makes the pun funnier? It's your expression. Mwehehe " He says. Jimin merely shrugs. " So where did Jungkookie go? " Jin asks after.

" He went to Busan. "

" Busan? " Jin clarifies.

" Yeah? " Jimin retorts.

Jin tilts his head, caressing his chin as he hums.. " That's surprising to hear. I didn't know he will go there ever aft- " Jin automatically stops when Jimin's phone rang. He was distracted at how loud it is.

Tsk. Speaking of the idiot, Jimin murmurs after eyeing the name registering on his screen. " Hyung, Can I take this call shortly? " Jimin stated while showing his phone to Jin.

" Yeah. I think you should. " He agrees.

" Oh? "

" What oh?! " Jungkook yells over the phone.

Tsk. " Oh babybabe?~ " Jimin internally rolls his eyes. He can just imagine the smug on Jungkook's face as he was chuckling right now.

" Good boy.~ "

" Tsk. What are you gonna tell me? Say it. "

" Always so impatient my babybabe~ " Jungkook cackles. " I called to check if you are eating your lunch. "

" I am. " Jimin replied but Jungkook only snorts. He ain't falling for it easily. " You can ask your brother. He is with me. "

" Jin hyungie? " Jungkook snaps. " Babybabe, put me on speaker. "

Jimin frowns. " Why? "

" I will talk to hyung. "

" I will just hand my phone to him. " Jimin stubbornly suggested.

" No. I want you to listen on what I am going to tell him. This concerns you. "
