Carlisle was astonished by the newborn. By how good she could control herself around humans. After an experiment in a public park he thought that it could be best that Natalia went to school for her senior year. He trusted that his children would always look out for her. After a few weeks in school they also discovered that Natalia had a gift. She wasn't fazed by human blood, from then on every other vampire wished that they had what she did.
Senior year had been everything for Natalia. She soon realized that her life wasn't over, it had just started. Natalia ran for class president and she won, she started the ocean animal club, she was an aide for the library, and was on track for having her first straight A year. With school starting she had repaired the friendships she was losing. Angela and her would go to the library once a week and Natalia promised Jessica that they can get coffee before school together. Natalia also noticed how either Jasper, Alice, or Edward are in all of her classes.
Bella had been mad when she first found out that Natalia got to be changed. Edward just simply explained that it had not been her fault, but that didn't stop her using it as leverage every time she would ask. Natalia also came to the realization that Bella was completely selfish. She made Edward believe she was dead and then she wouldn't even think about Charlie when she said that she wanted to change. Natalia knew why Rosalie hated her, it just took a while to figure it out.
Her relationship with Rosalie was getting better everyday. Before she couldn't even stand to be in the same room as her, now Rosalie is helping her with homework.
Lunch is always hard for nat. She used to bring her bag filled with goodies but ever since she turned she only brought the same bag of chips and water everyday. With Rosalie and Emmett graduating , Natalia and Bella convinced the other to sit at their table with them. It was like two friend groups combing. It took a while to get used too but now everyone wouldn't imagine Jasper, Alice and Edward not sitting with them.
Jasper and Natalia always arrived at the lunch room before Bella and Edward. The duo was walking to the table while Jessica was reciting her graduation speech. Anglea is busy addressing a pile of notecards envelopes and Mike is writing down ideas in his notebook.
"My fellow students, we are the future. Anything is possible if we just believe, blah, blah, blah."
Mike rips a paper out of his book and hands it to Jessica. " Perfect. You got yourself a speech."
"Yeah this will be my speech when I want people to throw diplomas at my head." Jessica just crumbles the paper and then aims at his head.
"Ya gotta embrace the cliches Jess." He tries to convince.
"They are the bread and butter of all valedictorians." Eric adds.
