Today was the day. Natalia was becoming a big girl and moving out on her own. Normally during the summer, former high school seniors turn into college freshmen. Natalia's dream was to go to the University of Miami. After she turned her dream had to be altered, so she settled for the University of Oregon. Now she wasn't actually going to school. Her mother had been adamant about her attending college, so Natalia just told her that she got in and was going to one.
Everyone was leaving. Angela and Eric were heading to Seattle, Jessica heading to some college in California, Mike going to a school in Idaho, and Jace moving to Seattle too. Natalia threw a get together for all of her friends. Charlie helped her mother set up a campfire for everyone to roast hotdogs and make smores, and Natalia got everyone fireworks to set off. Everyone was growing up.
Natalia was 'moving' into her dorm. Her mother and Jasper moved everything that she packed in boxes, to her car. Ella was just watching everyone from the porch. The little sister would ever admit it but she was going to miss her sister.
Stella grabbed Natalia's arm and pulled her over to the side. "Mija, I'm going to miss you so much."
Natalia frowned and pulled her mom into a hug. "I'm going to miss you too."
Stella pulled away and got a good look at her daughter. "You know you don't have to go to Oregon. Miami is waiting for you."
Natalia sighed and started to walk away from her mother. They had fought about this many times. Stella thought Natalia was throwing away her dream because of her boyfriend. Coincidentally Jasper was going to the University of Oregon too. Every time the topic came up Natalia just wanted to scream that she wasn't going to College, she was just moving down the street.
"As I've been telling you, they have one of the best marine biology programs in the world." Natalia told her mother.
Stella saw Jasper walkout outside with more boxes. "I heard something from Charlie."
"What?"
Stella moved closer to Natalia and whispered. "Bella and Edward are going to get married."
Natalia wanted to laugh but it sounded like her mother was concerned. "I know."
Stella looked shocked. She thought she had stopped secret information. "Well, what I'm trying to say is you and Jasper don't need to be rushing down the aisle anytime soon."
"Mom, you don't have to worry. It's going to be a long time before I get married." Natalia assured her.
Jasper, hearing their conversation, frowned across the yard.
It was an emotional goodbye. Natalia wanted to stay in her family home forever but she knew that she couldn't. Her mother was crying as Jasper drove out of her driveway, and her sister waved at her till she couldn't see the car any more. Natalia knew this had to happen, it was easier than saying she had died so young. A few short minutes later Jasper pulled up to Natalia's new home. Alice and Esme were waiting outside when Natalia exited the car. Alice ran up to the girl and gave her a hug.
"Welcome home!" Alice said.
Natalia laughed and returned the hug. "Thank you."
Emmett walked out of the front door and walked over to Natalia's car. "Emmett you don't need to!"
Emmett smirked. "Don't worry. I can carry it."
Natalia shook her head and walked over towards Esme. Esme wrapped her arms around the girl and guided her into the house. "Alice has been preparing Jasper's room for you all day."
"Oh I'm sure."
Rosalie was sitting on the couch, catching up on the local newspaper. She smirked when she felt the couch dip besides her. She looked over and saw Natalia smirk at her.
"Are you sure you don't wanna go to Oregon?" Rosalie smiled.
"Of course she doesn't, or she wouldn't be here right now." Alice answered, hearing Rosalie comment from outside.
Natalia just nodded her head yes. Alice walked over and grabbed Natalia's hand. Natalia followed where Alice was going. Alice stopped walking and stood in front of Jasper's bedroom door. Natalia felt a rush of air besides her, and Jasper joined Natalia at her side.
"Why are we standing in front of his bedroom?" Natalia asked her.
"Well now that you've officially moved in, it is now your bedroom." Alice opened the door.
Natalia's eyes widened and she let out a gasp. She looked up at Jasper and he just smiled at her. The room looked completely different. It used to be covered in dark blue, with books and CD's all over the group. Alice changed the room to be a light yellow color. There was space in the closet for her clothes and shoes. Alice put a makeup vanity in. Her favorite books even made their way onto Jasper's bookshelf. The bed was still in the center of the bedroom but looked like it belonged. Before, Jasper just had random sheets covering the mattress, now Alice matching sheets and covers on. Jasper smiled at his sister. He could feel how happy she was.
"I know it's going to be hard to be away from Stella and Ella, so I hope this makes it a little bit easier." Alice stood by the door.
Natalia looked back at her. She walked over to the pixie girl and gave her a hug.
"This is amazing Alice, I love it! Thank you"
Alice dismissed herself from the room and gave Natalia some alone time with Jasper. Natalia went to go sit on the bed. Jasper was still standing by the door, watching her take in everything.
"I hope you don't feel like I'm taking over your life." Natalie said.
Jasper just laughed and joined her on the bed. "I don't. I would love nothing more, for you to be in my life, forever."
Natalia kissed him. Jasper kissed back and started to deepen the kiss. Natalia put her legs on each side of his waist and started to take off his shirt. Jasper kissed down her neck. Natalia let out a quiet moan.
"I'll love you forever Jasper Hale."
