I just looked through a ton of therapist bios and I know a couple things: one, there are A LOT of therapists for anxiety, depression, and other mental disorders.
Two, there are so many more women in the field than men, at least that I was recommended. Which makes sense, I present as female so it would follow that most of the therapists I was recommended are female.
Three, I have no idea what many of the degrees listed for each therapist mean. Absolutely no clue.
Four, many list art therapy as a thing they do with their clients. Pretty cool!
Anyways, I sat at a computer for most of the day either writing, looking up therapists, or watching videos on YouTube.
I feel pretty relaxed and calm, which is unusual but very nice.
I still have two updates to write up tomorrow, but it'll be one page less than usual because I got a page done.
Yeah I wasn't super productive but I do feel a lot more at ease than I normally do.
Two days off was exactly what I needed.
Did I use them to be productive? Kinda.
Do I feel better mentally? Definitely.
So was it effective? 100% yes.
