"Can I go grab the remote or will that be a danger to your sanity?" Connor asked with a cheeky grin. This was the fifth time he asked you this type of question just to mess with you. "Would you stop making fun of me?" You said with your face blue while you pushed the still grinning android as he got up. "Nope. It's fun." He laughed.

You searched for something to watch that you both hadn't already seen, though it proved to be difficult since you were always watching shows and movies together.
"This one?"
"We watched that."
"This?"
"Nope."
"How about this one?"
"Seen it."
"This one looks awful."
"Let's watch that one."

The opening credits started rolling and your habitual routine of curling up on the couch commenced.

Connor's POV
Now I'm not one to make negative comments on things... But who in their right mind would make two hours worth of this? The movie was horrible... As we already knew. We just didn't expect it to be this bad. I looked over to (Y/N) and she was passed out, definitely not interested in the movie at all. I couldn't help but smile as I grabbed the remote to turn off the TV... Sweet silence, thank god.

I fixed (Y/N)'s blanket around her and she snuggled deeper into the warm fabric. I didn't feel like putting on another show or getting up but I wasn't tired, so I just sat there with her, listening to the soft sound of her breathing and looking at her peaceful expression. I moved so she could use my lap as a pillow since I thought she would be more comfortable. She nestled into me and an ever so faint smile formed on her lips. I couldn't help but smile as well as I intertwined my fingers with hers.

Time passed by, how long I have no idea. But it didn't matter to me, I would spend forever like this if I could. As the sun started to set everything beyond the window glowed orange and the soft light shown through and sparkled across (Y/N)'s face, as a stared down at her I could only think about how beautiful she was.

She squeezed my hand tighter and her once peaceful expression faded. I watched her as she shifted uneasily in her sleep, she seemed like she was having a nightmare.

As soon as tears started rolling down her face I gently shook her awake, I didn't like seeing her cry. "Hey, hey... It's a bad dream, sweetheart." I held her hand a little tighter as I tried my best to be comforting. Her eyes shot open as she gasped, she looked at me before letting out a dry relieved chuckle as she sat up and wiped away her tears. "Sorry, it's just a bad dre-" " don't apologize. Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. She was so quick to try and brush of her emotions as no big deal or some sort of inconvenience, I wish she'd talk about them more. "The DPD... I was back at the DPD." Was all she wanted to explain, that was all she needed to say.

I knew she was struggling with flashbacks and bad memories but there's only so much I can do... I hate it so much. Giving her a hug was the only thing I could think of doing, her arms clasped around me in return. She buried her head into the crook of my neck and I could feel her smile. "Thank you." She mumbled "I'm always right here if you need anything. Just tell me." She held me tighter as I spoke before letting go. "You always are... I love you." She smiled softly as she wiped away the last of the remaining tears. "Man, today was supposed to be a fun day. Seems like we're just too much of a mess to do that." She joked.

Your POV

You were heading to yet another crime scene at Eden club. This would have been the eighth, not including similar cases that were outside of the Eden club. Hank, Connor, and you all collectively groaned as you saw the swarm of on lookers, protestors, and paparazzi. The Eden Club Slaughters had made head lines and there were many people who demanded that the establishment be shut down. You agreed with them but there was no way it would be that easy, there was too much demand for the business so there would always be a supply. Reluctantly, you all got out of the car and made your way through the crowed. "(Y/N)! What do you have to say about the disturbing messages left at these crime scenes? Does the appearance of your name disturb you?" A woman shoved a microphone in your face. Thanks to you being an android, there was no formality or respect for you whenever someone approached to ask any questions. The media had been focusing a lot on the notes the victims left behind... Which all in fact, had your name. Each one being a desperate plea for one person to stop whoever was to blame for all of this. "I have no comments for you. We're not on a first name basis so please don't refer to me as such." You responded. "Excuse me, what is your opinion on Eden Club: the home to a growing number of murders staying open despite the danger?" Another reporter jumped in, you hated these damn microphones. "I have no say in the matter, and my opinion is not needed in my job." You had to really restrain yourself from saying anything foolish as you knew all of it was being recorded.

You could see Connor and Hank were also dealing with the same headache and found it amusing as you did your best to get through the crowd without shoving anyone. "Excuse me!-"

The moment you stepped inside Eden Club you let out the biggest sigh of relief. You'd never thought you'd be so happy to be inside this place... I mean, you could already smell the blood. Connor and Hank found their way to the crime scene along with you. By now, you were so desensitized to all of this, another victim brutality toured, signs of struggle, some note, and untraceable as always.

This victim was a young male, his jugular had been scratched out with the perpetrator's nails... This murderer sure had a thing for the theatrics. Couldn't he just strangle the person and call it a day? Nope, you had to leave the poor guy in an entire pool of his blood... Classy. After looking more you found the note you were waiting for "oh boy! This one's in German, how exotic!" You said, heavy sarcasm laced every word. Hank let out a long sigh "let me guess what it says. 'Oh, please (Y/N) you have to stop him! You and one other bullshit person we're going to conveniently not give a name are the only ones that can end this!'" Hank was also quite fed up with these crime scenes.... And got the note pretty much spot on.

"Yup... You know, the first time I saw one of these notes it really messed with me but at this point it's just so blatantly clear that it's not the victims writing this stuff." You sighed. "I just don't see why the murderer would write these." Connor jumped into the conversation. "Well, it's probably to get under (Y/N)'s skin, I mean we dunno if it's really (Y/N) they're talking about but it's a weird ass way to go about it..." Hank mumbled. "Anyways, can either of you identify this guy?" Hank asked, you hadn't really looked at his face yet, you'd been too caught up in the rest of the crime scene and the trauma on his body. As usual, he looked familiar. You stared at his dull vacant eyes a little longer.

The walls were all empty and white, there was the sound of beeping and humming of machines. "Sir, I don't think it's a good idea to do that-" the victim you were looking at a second ago now spoke. Whoever he was speaking to was completely ignoring him. "We barely were able to pull off the experiment and we got our results. Please sir, this really wouldn't be safe." He pleaded with his you were assuming superior. You heard a man chuckle and your stomach immediately felt ten times heavier. "Safe is no fun. Besides, I have knew questions about these... Interesting results." He said. His footsteps from outside the room grew loader and when he stopped talking the door swung open.

Before you could see the mystery person that invoked so much fear in you on instinct, you were back to present. You put your hands over your face as you collected yourself, still stirred up from the fear you felt in the flashback. "Yeah..." You said shakily. "I know him... And I think I might have known the murderer..."
