de beach

did I go to the beach a few days ago in the middle of winter? yes.
it barley had any people and was also freezing and I may have caught a cold, but it was very fun
I got a pretty shell while I was running away from the waves, too!

anyways, here's the rats at a beach

- South Carolina is cooking food for everyone while conversing (flirting) with Georgia

- Loui and Florida are getting way to close to the waves then sprinting away from them once they fall

- Alaska is hiding underneath an umbrella until Florida and Loui start tugging him to get out
He may have subtly cried a bit, but it's ok because no one noticed

- Kansas is at first very confused and kind of scared of the ocean and the waves, but then he joins Florida and Loui in running away
He also got salt water in his eyes since he didn't think it'd hurt and drank it-

- Hawai'i and Cali were out surfing before the tides got too strong

- Nevada, Colorado, and New Mexico are building a sand castle, and Coco is gathering a bunch of materials for them to use

- Utah is also scolding Colorado for not putting on sunscreen earlier and patting his face with it

- flash to Colorado who has a sunburn and also a very white face because of Utah
He just walks back up to Nevada and New Mexico and goes "I'm white squared"

- DC is honestly just trying to relax in a lounge chair

- Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York are trying to build a better sand castle
New York may have gotten a little distracted and started collecting sea shells instead

- Once Hawai'i and California got back to shore, Hawai'i tried to help Alaska back into his comfort zone by joining him under the shade of a palm tree

Meanwhile Cali joined the sand castle battle with his team as Washington and Oregon, and they get oddly competitive

- Arizona is asked to judge the castles because "you're basically all sand, you should know a thing or two about how to best build with it"

- In case anyone wanted to know what they looked like:
Coco, New Mex, and Nevada's was a somewhat small castle with many pillars and leafs sticking out
Cali, Washington, and Oregon's was on the wider side, with 4 pillars and had an army of rocks outside protecting it
New York, Connecticut's, and Mass' was tall as hell, had a moat, and surrounded by sea shells

- Maryland and PA were holding back saying how adorable and excited Mass looked when their castle won
they were also worrying way too much about Cali and Hawai'i while they were surfing

The beach is pretty dope when there's no people
