Not me writing headcanons of states being sleep deprived while being sleep deprived.

Florida: Actually doesn't know what is happening. He'll be a little very cranky, and will crash into a wall or three. Would probably just go back to sleep as soon as he gets the chance.

DC: *important talk* Florida are you even listening

Florida, half asleep with his head on the table: Shut up I'm a busy bitch trying to sleep..

DC: It takes a lot to get DC to be actually act sleepy instead of just straight up sleep deprived, but when it does happen, he's usually just pretty silent. He'll be able to put up a pretty good act, but the second he can sit down, he passes out.

*DC getting home after a long day*

Florida: Heh, why do you look so sle-

DC: *passed out at the diner table as soon as he sits down*

Texas: Slurs his words together a bunch, and is actually a bit calmer/kind then he is when he isn't tired. But also his anger towards Oklahoma just goes to max levels of salt.

Florida: Hey can I borrow your hat?

Texas: Sure whatever

Oklahoma: Aw can I borrow it-

Texas: *knife in hand* I will-

New York: I think the best way to describe homeboy is this:

I like to imagine the ex-colonies joking around about this since he's probably always had this sort of attitude-

California: Around the same boat as Florida but a bit less cranky energy and a lot more 'I don't know what is happening' energy
