This took unnecessarily a long time to put up I-

- Since there can be multiple reasons for the apocalypse to start, let's just say this one is a combination of a sickness making people all gross and violent (basically zombies), and natural disasters since it adds some spice

- Just because I think most people know the government would probably not care about the civilians a bunch at all if the world was kind of ending, I can imagine a ton of people trying to get their attention to actually help their people. That includes some of the states trying to get the attention of DC, whose been no where to be seen so far

A rumor spread that Maryland and Virginia had gotten in contact with DC, but they couldn't confirm it

- Along with DC, nothing has been heard of the CDC, leading some to be both suspicious and angry
California and New York have a strong feeling that they may have been involved in it somehow

- Florida and Loui absolutely refuse to leave each other's sight
Florida because he knows he's gonna get lost if he's not with Loui, and Loui needs to be near Florida so that he makes sure the other doesn't just die from doing something risky

- California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Colorado separate from the main group into a smaller one sometimes, trying to find some other states that they haven't found yet (this is under the impression that most, if not all of the states that have met up are sticking together to find the rest of them)

at least weapons used to fight off other people zombies (a lot of this was influenced by the groupchat so-)

Texas uses a handgun

Oregon has an axe

Washington carries many knifes, sometimes handing them out to states who don't have a weapon yet

California uses a  s w o r d
no one really questions where he got it since it kind of just looks super cool
Florida likes to narrow it sometimes

Florida once used his hand gun, but Georgia revoked it after he almost shot himself in the foot since safety wasn't on
Now he just uses a bat with barbed wire wrapped around it (he cannot carry around gators and yeet them, but if he could he would)

Loui uses a machete in one hand, a katana in the other
if he's only using one, he has two holster at his side to put them in

Kansas uses his bat, but stuck some nails in it

Iowa has a crowbar

New York and Mass use a sledgehammer

Georgia and Alabama use crossbows

Maryland uses a canesword

Illinois has an axe

PA uses every chance he can to use a flamethrower, but also carries a few molotov cocktails and a dirk

Indiana has a mace
Alabama and Ohio were very pretty surprised when they saw the thing

Colorado has a dart gun with poison darts, and has a thing for knowing about chemical warfare if worst comes to worse

Nevada carries a club named Blackjack

Hawai'i has a scthye like the anime baddie that she is

North and South Dakota carry shovels and have a hell of a hit

Alaska has his bear defense gun he used back at home

Arizona also has the same problem as PA and Florida, where they're just probably way more trigger happy then they should be, so the west limits him to only a metal bat

- Coco wears a gas mask
Partially because of the extra protection(especially in certain places with dangerous levels of air pollution), partially because it keeps his identity hidden from some people he would rather not associate with

It's the apocalypse, there's bound to be some people who've lost their sanity and haven't been infected in the streets

- Vermont has a bunch of knowledge of gunpowder to the point it kind of scares the others

- Kansas and Iowa were somewhat lost from the others for a pretty long time
They were very scares in materials for a while, leading them to just use the bat Kansas already had, and stealing a crowbar from a small hardware store they barley found.

Despite that, the very last states to met up with the others were Alaska and Hawai'i

- Currectly they're staying in an abandoned house, in a rural area in PA, close to the border of Maryland
The house is pretty big, and everyone has been helping clean it up since they've been staying there, all while trying not to draw the attention of anyone outside if someone just so happens to come across the place

- They have 2 working cars they use, usually to go and loot a few small shops nearby for anything that could feed them just in case hunting didn't work out that night

It was a hassle to get the first one to work, and required a lot of trips to the small towns nearby to get materials for it
Meanwhile the second one was one that Loui had stolen when things were just starting to get bad. It worked as the one him, Florida, and Georgia drove to get to the house, but they were willing to let the others use it when they arrived

- North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are usually the ones who go out hunting for food, but sometimes others tag along

They've tried to plant certain crops, but the only thing they have going for them is a single apple tree that was already there when they arrived

- California, Florida, Louisiana, Kansas, and the states that deal with strong natural disasters getting pretty sick because of how often and how strong they're hitting at the current moment

Georgia and South Carolina are usually the ones taking care of both Loui and Florida when the hurricanes hit, Alaska or Texas are with Cali depending on what's going on, and Iowa takes care of Kansas

- Since there isn't really much to do, Colorado and Nevada fancy doing graffiti together in lone abandoned towns they find
Utah doesn't really bother to stop them, and in return Coco often tries to paint his state flower. Utah thinks it's cute, even if I almost never turns out as well

Along with things they do to pass the time, Cali likes to go out and look for flower fields that remind him of home along with some other west coast states

Hawai'i and Alaska just enjoy being outside, and are often around the grass field next to the house

- They've gone to the big cities only a few times

At first it was to find more states that hadn't found the house yet, and every time after that was to find DC

The reason they're trying to find him varies. Some states are trying to make sure he's okay, other states are trying to get to him since they know that he has some insight as to how the whole thing started

Florida tends to get into a sad episode whenever thinking about him, and just tries to ignore it
