this will just be me giving out my thoughts on what the states would say if you asked for their pronouns
so take it with a grain of salt, if your disagree that's also a vibe :p
======

New York: he/him, you?
Pretty chill about it, may be a little surprised when asked but okay

California: he/they, what about yours?
Gets a little happy whenever someone asks him
Kind of gave up on giving a shit about what the other states think of him in this regard

Florida: all of the above (he/she/they)
Just like Cali in the sense that he gets a little excited when someone bothers to ask him
He's gotten some bad looks from the southern states when they hear him respond like that, but he just tries to brush it off (keyword being tries)

Texas: ...he/him
He's heard too many lectures from some states about not using nor/mal and being a dick. Surprisingly, it got through to him. Has been recently getting a bit more progressive in that line, and actually stands up for some states when others are giving them trouble for it(hesitantly if the southern states are there)

Louisiana: just he/him sha
Hella supportive of Florida, and was the first person he told
Always asks what pronouns he'd want to go by that day, and gives the other southern states their share of sass whenever they're being bold

DC: um, he/they, thank you
Part of me wants to believe he'd have cdc defend him when someone pulls that "there's only 2 genders" mess
He often tries to break up fights about the topic at the table, mainly since he doesn't tolerate the bullshit

Georgia: wait wait Florida told me about these- the he ones :)
Definition of confused but got the spirit. Will defend Florida but also needs clarification on what it means every once in a while. He gets it after a bit

Wisconsin: uuuh, he/him?
Genderfluid but doesn't fully understand it yet, and is just a bit confused
He's slowly starting to feel more comfortable with telling people though

Hawai'i: oh she/her dude
Just overall chill about it
She lets Wisconsin and Florida borrow her skirts, and even has a specific drawer sectioned off for them to take from

Alaska: my what? oh- um- the boy ones?
Not trying to be rude in any way, just genuinely doesn't know how he would respond
Hawai'i tells him later what it means and how to respond

Indiana: They/them, thank you for asking!
They're giving me enby energy and I can't explain it-

They have a little pronoun button on a jacket they always wear, but is sometimes too scared to bring it after one of the states had started bothering him about it cough Michigan cough
(Ohio almost killed his sorry ass when that happened)
