The door behind him swung open, and Jungkook found himself wishing that this was all a prank... and that the person behind him was Jieun.
"JAYKAY!" Seokjin yelled as he burst into the room, bounding next to Jungkook at once and squeezing the air out of him with a tight hug. "OMG JAYKAY- YOUR FIRST SOLO CONCERT- THIS IS A DREAM- I FEEL LIKE I'VE DREAMT OF THIS DAY SINCE THE DAY I WAS BORN- JAYKAY, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU- I'M ACTUALLY GONNA CRY-"
"You need to chill, you're messing up his hair-" Byulyi who walked in right behind Seokjin, yanked him away from Jungkook. "Hi, Jungkook-ah. There you go, here are the flowers we got for you. Congratulations on your first solo concert, we're both so, so proud and happy for you."
With slightly trembling hands, Jungkook reached forward and grabbed the bouquet from Byulyi.
"Thank you."
"JK!" Seokjin beamed as he took a seat next to Jungkook, trying to get a good glimpse of his face. "Look at hyung! I wanna see your face-"
"Cut it out, hyung-" Jungkook brushed his hand aside. "I'm not in the mood."
"You're not in the mood...?" Seokjin's face fell. "It's your big day... so why...?"
Jungkook sighed and shook his head as he threw his phone onto the table in frustration.
"Why?" Byulyi furrowed her eyebrows as she took her seat on Jungkook's other side. "Did something happen...?"
Jungkook just sighed in response.
