Ring! Ring!

Jennie let go of Yoongi's hand at once as his phone rang all of a sudden. She pursed her lips, digging her toes into the floor behind her shyly. "Pick it up - your phone is ringing."

"My phone? There's no reason why..." Yoongi fumbled around his pockets before finally retrieving his phone from his back pocket. "Ah, here it is."

Jennie peeked over with a knowing grin on her face.

"Ah, it's just a spam number-"

"Wait, no!" Jennie held out a hand to stop Yoongi from ending the call immediately. "Hold on!"

Yoongi froze as he glanced up at Jennie slowly. "Why?"

"Maybe you should pick up-" Jennie gestured towards the phone with her head. "It... It might be important, you never know."

Yoongi held up his phone uninterestedly. "It's not a saved number though? I saved all the food delivery services, so it's probably not important, don't worry-"

"So if it's not food delivery, it's not important?" Jennie's jaws dropped. "You're unbelievable-"

"Food is important indeed-" Yoongi held up his phone like it was a ticking time bomb. "But my main point is that there's no reason why anyone important would be calling me. I barely even receive any calls."

"Just pick it up!" Jennie insisted. "It sounds urgent-"

"How does a ringtone sound urgent-"

"Tsk-" Jennie grabbed the phone out of Yoongi's grip, accepted the call and shoved the phone back into Yoongi's hands. Before Yoongi could even react, she darted over to the sofa, away from Yoongi, as she whispered and motioned for him to hold up the phone to his ear. "Talk. Speak. Into the phone."

Yoongi blanked out for a little while, before finally snapping back to his senses eventually. "Hello...? Who's this?"

Jennie watched him nervously in breathless silence.

"Huh?" Yoongi frowned. "Yes, I'm Min Yoongi, but how do you know that?"

Yoongi glanced at Jennie, who looked away at once and pretended to busy herself with a magazine.

"Ah... is that so? She told you that?"

Pause.

"You're really saying that... you know my whole situation well... but you're still willing to give me this position? This isn't a dream, is it?"

Yoongi's breath hitched.

"No- I mean, yes! Yeah, of course, that would be wonderful!" Yoongi grinned from ear to ear as he nodded excitedly. "Yes, I'm free tomorrow! Of course! Yes! Thank you so much! Have a nice day, goodbye!"

Boom! Bang! Clap! Clack! Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ya! What's that sound!" Byulyi took off her headphones the moment she heard someone - or rather, from the sound of it, an elephant - entering her apartment later that day. "Who's that!"

Byulyi's question was instantly answered the moment she turned around because Seokjin fumbled into the house with his luggage bags, looking like the whole world owed him a living.

"What's your problem?" Byulyi furrowed her eyebrows, folding her arms as she leaned against a shelf. "Did you have to make so much noise while coming in? Is this how you greet me after not seeing me for just... a day or two?"
