"I don't see her around today, huh.

Miyeon carried on doing Jungkook's hair, not knowing that he was looking at her through the mirror and talking to her.

"Miyeon-ssi?"

"Huh? Oh-" Miyeon looked up at Jungkook through the mirror, surprised that he was even talking to her. He was the type that had barely spoken to her for five whole years after all. "You're talking to me?"

"Yeah," Jungkook said nonchalantly before carrying on quickly. "She's... not here today?"

"Huh? Who?"

Jungkook clucked his tongue as he put down the magazine in his hands. "You know who I'm talking about."

"No, I don't-" Miyeon frowned. "Are you talking about Shuhua? She's right there, I can go get her if you prefer her to do your hair today-"

"No, not Shuhua-" Jungkook sighed. "You know who I'm talking about, just think harder."

"No, I really don't-" Miyeon sighed frustratedly, her flat iron floating in the air above Jungkook's head. "Minnie? Or perhaps... Soyeon? Ah- Yuqi...? Can't be Soojin, can it-"

"Ah, Miyeon-ssi, you really-" Jungkook groaned exasperatedly as he picked up his magazine and began flipping through once more. "Forget it."

Miyeon scratched her head cluelessly, and went back to attending to Jungkook's hair with a confused frown on her face. Seokjin came in a few moments later and took a seat next to Jungkook, picking up a magazine as well.

"Shuhua-ya!" Seokjin called. "Could you give me a nice makeover today?"

Jungkook glanced at Seokjin to his left. "What's wrong with you today, hyung?"

"Nothing-" Seokjin growled at Jungkook, making it known to everyone in the room that something was obviously very wrong. "Just wanted to be good-looking today, am I not even allowed to do that now?!"

"Woah, woah, woah-" Jungkook backed away at once. "Calm down."

"Ah!" Miyeon's exclaimed behind Jungkook all of a sudden. "It slipped my mind because she was new. Jungkook-ssi, you're talking about Jieun-unnie, aren't you? You were asking me where she was...?"

Jungkook sighed. "Took you long enough."

"Lee Jieun isn't on duty today..." Seokjin threw his head back, allowing Shuhua to gel up his hair. "Why? You miss her?"

"Did I say that?" Jungkook looked at his fingernails. "It's just... significantly quieter when she isn't around so it makes her absence noticeable."

"Oh-?" Seokjin smiled for the first time of the day as he glanced at Jungkook suspiciously. "Is someone getting fond of her...?"

"Pfft-" Jungkook scoffed as he stole a furtive glance at Miyeon and Shuhua who were listening in. "Come on, hyung. Don't be ridiculous, I'm already attached."

"Not in that way-" Seokjin hurriedly corrected himself as he glanced at Miyeon and Shuhua through the mirror. "You just don't seem so... annoyed by her these days. The arguing and fighting must have brought you two closer, huh."

Jungkook glanced up at Miyeon through the mirror once more.

Miyeon got the hint. "I'll come back and finish this later, Jungkook-ssi."

"Me too, Seokjin-oppa."

Shuhua hurried off after Miyeon.

"She's not too bad-" Jungkook said after a while. "Slightly rude, but I do acknowledge her skills. I only have one qualm about her, hyung."
