"Wait-" Jimin helped Jennie down onto her couch. "Slowly- slowly- there we go-"

Jennie laughed. "Oppa, I told you my ankle is fine! I can walk, I can even run- You didn't have to help me up-"

"Are you kidding?" Jimin frowned. "Your ankle is practically swollen! That Yeri must have shoved you so hard in order for you to twist it so badly-"

"She didn't, oppa-" Jennie sighed. "This is all part of acting, it's not like I haven't gotten injured. I'm okay, so could you please not tell sajang-nim about this?"

Jimin frowned. "You don't look okay-"

"I'm okay-" Jennie insisted as she tried to get to her feet. "You want me to show you?"

"No, no, no-" Jimin rushed forward, setting Jennie down quickly. "What are you doing?"

"Showing you I'm okay."

"Don't do that!" Jimin pouted. "Okay, fine - I won't tell him, okay? Urgh, I can't stand you."

Jennie beamed. "You're the best, oppa. Don't worry about me, my foot will be okay in a couple of days and by the next shoot, I'll be ready."

"You sure?"

Jennie nodded and smiled. "I'm sure, oppa."

"Alright then-" Jimin took a seat next to Jennie on her couch. "But what was happening earlier? When I came back with the ice, you looked really upset about something."

"What?" Jennie feigned ignorance, putting on a smile. "Nothing happened, maybe I just have a resting bitch face after all - like what everyone says."

"Nonsense-" Jimin frowned. "You don't usually look like that. Something must have bothered you - what is it?"

"I said it was nothing, oppa-" Jennie forced a laugh as she lay down on her couch. "Can we drop the topic now? I'm a little tired."

"Alright then," Jimin said as he got to his feet and put the blanket over Jennie. "I'll leave now, so you can rest. Call me if there's anything, alright?"

"Mm. Thanks, oppa."

Jennie closed her eyes and waited for the door to click shut before she finally got up once more. With her hands supporting her at her sides, Jennie looked down at her ankle and began recalling what had happened earlier that day.

"Don't think about it, don't think about it-" Jennie pep-talked herself. "Busy yourself, surrounding yourself with negativity is the worst thing you can do right now."

Jennie closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, as she scanned her house for something to do. Her eyes eventually landed on a trash bag in the corner.

"Ah, I can go take out the trash-" Jennie said to herself with a smile as she struggled to get up. "My ankle is completely fine now. I can walk."

Jennie limped over to the door and picked up the trash bag. Even in her state, she needed to do something. Because when she wasn't busy, she tended to overthink.

And overthinking, was her greatest enemy.
