No matter whether Jieun wanted it or not, the next morning eventually arrived.

"No... why... ah!"

Seokjin sat up abruptly, waking up from his nightmare - a nightmare that he had gotten drunk, accidentally gone back to Byulyi's house and made a scene. It was embarrassing as hell, and Seokjin was glad he had finally woken up from that nightmare. Until he turned to his left, and realised that it wasn't actually a nightmare, but reality.

"AHHHHHHH!" Seokjin jumped up from the couch immediately, backing away from Byulyi who lay there next to him, watching him quietly. "Ya! What are you doing here?"

"It's my house, yet you're asking me what I'm doing here?" Byulyi groaned as she sat up slowly, wincing as she massaged her wrist gently. "Why don't you calm down and try to recall exactly what you did last night?"

"W-What did I do?" Seokjin asked, even though he could remember every single little thing, from yelling Byulyi's name loudly to singing his favourite breakup song to holding on so tight to Byulyi that she couldn't even leave his side. "I didn't do anything."

Byulyi scoffed and stifled a yawn as she got to her feet. "Right, insist on your innocence all you want. I'm not the one who showed up at your door all drunk, yelling your name at the top of my lungs and singing breakup songs late into the early morning. I have nothing to be embarrassed about."

"Oh, is that what I did?" Seokjin's cheeks turned red. He instantly decided to feign amnesia and make his way out of the house as soon as he could. "I was drunk, so I can't remember well. But I trust you when you said I did it, so I'm sorry."

"Oh, is that so?" Byulyi folded her arms, leaning against a cupboard. "You must remember that you owe me 100,000 won too, then."

"What?!" Seokjin screeched. "Since when?! Ya, Moon Byulyi - don't try to take advantage of me-"

"Take advantage of what?" Byulyi raised her eyebrows. "You said you can't remember well, so you trust me to recount last night's events, didn't you?"

Moon Byulyi, that sly little fox...

Seokjin gritted his teeth together, knowing that there was no turning back from here. "Oh, of course- 100,000 won, was it? I'll transfer the money over to you later."

"Hold on-" Byulyi narrowed her eyes. "Actually... did I remember it wrongly? Was it not 100,000 won but actually 1,000,000 won instead? I can't really remember exactly..."

Seokjin glared at Byulyi, daring her to cross the line.

"Actually, my bad-" Byulyi chuckled. "I remember now - it is 100,000 won indeed. You know my number, transfer the money over as soon as you can."

"Sure," Seokjin said through gritted teeth. "Once I get home, I'll transfer you the money I apparently owe you."

"Okay then," Byulyi said with a triumphant smirk. "See you then. Remember to take your friend before you leave."

Now, this was a detail that Seokjin genuinely couldn't remember.

"My friend?" Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows. "Wait a second... why am I here again?"
