14 | Fight Or Flight

Screams erupted throughout the gym.

The Japanese students knew exactly what was going on.

And so did Ahri.

"GET EVERYONE OUT NOW!" Bakugo yelled as terrified students ran for the exit.

The wild wild pussy cats.

Where were they?

Mr. Aizawa helped evacuate.

"It's that Dabi bastard, isn't it!" Ahri yelled."There's no way he'd come attack us by himself, and they're here for a reason."

Blue fire flooded the hallway leading to the gym.

The entire 1-A class stayed.

"GIJITSU! RADIO SOME PROS FOR BACK UP!"

"ON IT!"

"MIZU WORK ON PUTTING OUT THE FIRES!"

"GOT IT!"

"EVERYONE ELSE," Ahri shifted to a fighting stance. "LET'S KICK SOME ASS!"

The mood lighted for a moment.

Then, a portion of the ceiling caved in.

And in came the villains.

Ahri looked at her class.

They knew.

She just had to touch them.

Then they'd know why they were here.

They'd know everything.

"Ah, you thought you were safe by coming to America, didn't you..."

"Shiguraki..." Ahri whispered.

They all knew what their enemies were capable of.

Dabi raised his hand, ready to attack.

"Bye-bye." He smirked.

Blue flames formed on his hand.

Then he was hit in the face with a stream of water that was so powerful it threw him across the room. He hit the wall with a smack and flopped to the floor, staying completely still.

There was a silence.

Everyone turned to Mizu.

She looked confused, from her classmates to the villains.

"What?" She cocked her head.

Shiguraki was dumbfounded.

"I- how did you- I don't- what-...?"

She just looked back at him, equally as confused.

"He was hot and full of fire so I had to put him out."

Everyone, even the league laughed.

Shiguraki just looked annoyed.

"Stop wasting time and attack!"

A blue streak.

Blaze's eyes widened.

"Don't tell me that she's..."

Ahri was fast.

She grabbed toga and pulled her down behind some rubble.

Twice was moving to tackle Ahri.

Miru teleported him across the room.

The students split up.

"Wow, you're so pretty!" Toga squealed. "But you'd look even better with blood on you!"

She threw one of her blood-sucking needles in Ahri's direction, missing Ahri but ripping her dress.

"HEY, THAT WAS EXPENSIVE!"

Toga managed to tackle her and pin her to the ground.

She giggled and got ready to stab Ahri.

"I wanna hurt you so bad-"

Suddenly, a huge blast of air blew Toga off of Ahri and about 30 feet away.

Kaze.

Ahri looked over to her savior, scrambling to her feet. 

Blaze wasn't far behind her.

"Thanks, Kaze," Ahri exhaled. "I owe you one."

Then she remembered she had forgotten to use her quirk on Toga.

"Shit! I forgot to-"

"LOOK OUT!"

Blaze counter-attacked a barrage of blue fire coming in their direction. 

Sero and Asui pulled Kaze and Ahri behind some rubble and out of range.

After Dabi's flames stopped, toga noticed Blaze.

"Wow, I like you. You're pretty cute." She apprehended him. He couldn't use his quirk. "Too bad we'll have to kill you."

She stabbed him in the arm.

"Toga, we aren't here for him."

"Exactly! That's why I can kill him!"

Blaze shrieked in pain.

Ahri could only imagine what she was doing.

"Here just let me do it-"

Ahri couldn't stand it. 

She couldn't let him die. 

She had to do something.

She had to be strong.

She had to be a hero.

She used manipulate to propel herself forward, within an eighth of a second she was in front of Dabi, who was still conjuring flames. 

Toga had moved away by now, leaving the bleeding blaze helpless.

"YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIM YOU DAMN BASTARD!"

Asui used her tongue to rescue Blaze while Ahri was distracting them.

But then, in the moment that Ahri was in front of Dabi, he grabbed her by the throat. Her legs dangled inches off of the ground.

"Hey compress!" He smirked. "I got her."

Ahri struggled to breathe as compress walked over.

"Took you long enough."He used his quirk on her, sealing her into a little blue marble.

A portal appeared behind them, and they disappeared before anyone could react.

And with that, it was all over.
