Ahri curled up next to Blaze on his hospital bed, dark circles under her eyes.
"I'm sorry..." she whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Please forgive me for what I've done."
She squeezed his limp hand, pressing her forehead to his.
"I am so so sorry baby..."
She gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
It had been about a month since seiteki disappeared, and Ahri spent pretty much every night in the hospital with Blaze.
A slight movement startled her, and she looked down towards her hand.
Blaze's fingers slowly clasped around it.
Ahri's eyes widened.
"B-blaze?" She whispered, as she slowly sat up.
His eyelids gently fluttered.
"A-... ahri...?"
He fully opened his eyes, and Ahri got to see their shimmering deep brown for the first time in over a year.
Tears poured down Ahri's face.
"Blaze, you're finally awake!"
"W-What do you mean?"
Ahri hugged him, crying into his chest.
"You're alive!"
