Aww well it turns out the lightning just struck my arc reactor and restarted my heart when that really wasn't needed.
But anyway, Ric found me and brought me to Med Bay where I got a new arc reactor. It's the back up one I made so it's the exact same as the one I had before.
Soooo here I am in the same boring hospital bed I was when I first got this arc reactor.
I sit up and pout, "aww it didn't work" I whine and Ric glares at me.
"What the hell we're you thinking?!" He exclaims and I shrug.
"I was bored" I say.
"You tried to commit suicide because you were bored?!" He yells and I snort.
"Pfft don't be stupid I just wanted to see if I would die from the magic lookin' lightning" I wave him off and he facepalms.
"You might have the highest IQ on earth but gods you're such a fucking idiot.
"Cool, where's my phone?" I ask, he sighs and tosses my phone at me.
"Dang, aggressive much?" I smirk, he groans and walks out.
I go on my phone, there's a text from Harley saying he picked up Chrissy from school because it ended hours ago. It's now 7:12 pm.
There's also a bunch of text from him asking where I am and if I'm okay. There's a few from Nat, Bucky and Tony as well. Jeez, I don't see them for a day and they automatically get super worried.
I just take a selfie of me with a grin and putting my thumb up, then send it to each of them saying 'I'm nod dead'.
I probably shouldn't have put the picture cause now they're all asking me why I'm in a hospital gown and bed.
My phone rings, it's Nat and so I answer it begrudgingly.
"Hey Nat!" I say cheerfully.
"Peter. Explain" she says and I chuckle nervously.
"It's a new fashion trend?" I reply.
"That's what kids wear nowadays?" I hear Cap ask, causing me to laugh but it also lets me realise I'm on speaker, probably with the whole team.
"No Steve, kids don't wear hospital gowns as a fashion statement" Sam says in amusement at his friends stupidity.
"So Peter, mind filling us in on why you're in a hospital?" Tony asks, in a mock-cheerful manner.
"Ugh fine, but you have to promise not to freak out, well I know you will but just don't voice it" I say.
"Oh god, I don't like where this is going" Harley says.
There's a knock at my door and Uncle Phil walks in with a smile.
"Oh wait a second, Uncle Phil just walked in" I say and they all start talking but I mute them and myself.
"So Phil, do I tell them I was struck by lightning, or will that not go too smoothly?" I ask him.
"Well when I heard you were struck by lightning, I definitely freaked out so I don't count on them not doing the same" he chuckles.
"Yeah, true, wait did that count as a suicide attempt or just me being stupid?" I ask him.
"It's on your file as a suicide attempt kid, sorry" he says apologetically.
"Awh dang it" I say.
"Why'd you do it Pete?" He asks me and I shrug.
"It looked fun" I say.
