Stepping down the many stairs leading to Hagrid's Hut, August had a gentle stride in each step she took. The house of Slytherin and Gryffindor both had Care Of Magical Creatures and students were bound to appear in a few minutes, but August wanted pay a quick visit to Hagrid.

Admiring the small patch where it seemed to have a small garden growing, August knocked on the door. A few bangs and shuffling was heard within the home and August couldn't help but giggle silently to herself. "Heya, Hagrid!"

"Oh! It's only yer, August!" He said grinning down at the girl before entering her into the home. "I suppose yer've got Care Of Magical Creatures, huh?"

"Indeed, I do." She said smiling, "I'm rather excited. But as I remember, Professor McGonagall was meant to look into the whole Bowtruckle issue we had a fair few months ago... Has she said anything to you by any chance?"

"I wouldn't have a clue." He said as if he were distracting himself by looking out the window. "But I don't want yer looking for anything. Do yer understand?"

"What would I want to find here in Hogwarts that won't make a short cut easier to my classes?" She said to him slightly confused, "Is there something I'm not meant to find...?"

"There's a lot yer don't know, August." Hagrid spoke gently and darkly. "A lot of things that shouldn't be found." August took her woods in and nodded. She didn't know what they had meant, but she had a faint feeling she knew why it connected to her.

"Is this all happening because of Tom?"

"No more question's, go, go on, you're classmates are arriving now. Have a good day!" He said gently helping her out and closing the door. August stared up at the doors rather confused before adjusting leather bag and walking towards the small growing group.

Occasionally, she'd look back towards the house as she walked forwards, being rather clueless and oblivious of her surroundings. Colliding with a figure, she looked up and apologetically smiled, "Sorry, wasn't paying attention."

"Clearly." The boy with green robes spat. "Oh, no wonder." He said trailing her eyes over her, taking in the way she awkwardly shuffled on her feet and adjusted her bag once again. She was nervous and somewhat uncomfortable under his gaze. That's what he wanted. People to feel threatened. "Traitors like you should be apologizing to your superiors."

August scoffed before walking past but felt a hand grasp her wrist, looking at the culprit in hate and anger, she saw that Rosier had no fear in his eyes. "Get your filthy hands off of me."

"Why, should I? Might be the best thing that happens in your life." He said with a wink before letting his eyes stroll over her like some statue.

Disgust immediately washed over August, without realizing Pascal creeped out of her robe pocket, climbed down while hanging onto the sleeve of her robe and attacked Rosier. Using his branch-like arms to injure the boy who immediately groaned in pain and curse many words.

Throwing the creature into the air, August was lucky Pascal caught onto a branch otherwise she would've hated her self if something bad happened. Holding her hand up, the creature crawled his way onto her hand before climbing down her arm and perching itself on her should. "Don't come at me."

She said darkly to the boy before walking towards the back of the class. "Right! Well, sorry for keeping you all waiting! Come along now! I've got something good planned today!"

Kettleburn's rather cheery voice called as the group of students began to follow. August hanging in the back, avoiding Lily's, Marlene's and Alice's stares. Also ignoring Peter's and Remus' stares.

"What do you got next?" Peter asked the girl as he walked beside her. He was rather confused as to why she wasn't so cheery or why she was so quiet apart from her whispering to Pascal and occasional word to himself.

"I've got History Of Magic." She muttered to the boy, not exactly moving her gaze from the ground as they walked.

"In all honesty, I'd very much prefer having that over Herbology with the Hufflepuff's." He admitted and August looked up at him confused. "Sirius has a crush." He said rolling his eyes, "You know how those go? He likes one girl one day, then another the next."

"How amusing." She said with a small chuckle.

"I also don't want to be apart of a prank that Sirius and James have planned." He said causing August to laugh quietly, a small smile falling on his lips as he finally heard her laugh since breakfast and a small smile on her own lips. "They're planning to put Dungbomb's in Jamie Bones' pants! Inside the greenhouse!"

"That's sounds horrid." She said looking slightly disgusted. "You're all trapped inside the room, and that's what you're going to smell-"

"Let's just hope Sprout believes a plant did it for most of the class." He said quickly. "Otherwise, the four of us are screwed."

"I'm sure they won't let Remus get caught." August said to him softly, "He is helping with all of your guys classes, and he seems to never get caught or blamed for anything."

"Which is unfair!" Peter groaned and she couldn't help but smile at the boy who leant his head backwards, "We're all apart of it and he's free while were scraping gum of desks!"

"Better you than me." She giggled only to receive an offended look from him, "Oh, don't be so offended, Pete. We all know you like to be running around the castle with the boys."

"Very funny." He chuckled while rolling his eyes. Yet deep down he knew all too well, he did like running around with his best mates. "I'll see you later, okay?"

"I'm sure I'll see you after the bomb of a blast your going to have in Herbology." She giggled before entering History Of Magic.

"Oh, Miss Gaunt, may I have a word?" Professor Binns said with his rather bored voice. There were only a pair of Ravenclaw's and a lonely sleeping Hufflepuff, so quietly, August approached the table. "I have come to realization that you're particularly more advanced than some of our other students in this class... I have had a word with your other teachers and we've all come to the decision that if you like, you could join the fifth years in my class. This is entirely your opinion."

"I'd love to." She said smiling up at the man, "But will I still have to take my fourth-year class?"

"I'm afraid so, for all DATA to be loaded at the end of the year, we have to have you take this class still. You're mother will have a letter written from myself by the end of the week, but for now, take a seat."
