Chapter 57

Today was the first day back filming for HBP. We decided to start with the quidditch tryouts. Ron and Jackson had to try out again for the team, since Harry was captain and Ginny was co-captain.

"ACTION!"

"No hard feelings, right Weasley?" McLaggen asked Ron.

"Hard feelings?" Ron questioned, confused on what he was talking about.

"I'm going out for keeper as well. Nothing personal." McLaggen informs.

"Really? Strapping guy like you, you've got a Beater's build, don't you think? Keeper needs to be agile, quick---" Ron starts, getting cut off when McLaggen catches a fly out of nowhere.

"I like my chances. I like my chances. Say... think you could introduce me to your friend Granger? Wouldn't mind getting on a first name basis, know what I mean?"

"She has a boyfriend." Jackson stepped in.

"I don't see him."

"He's right in front of you. Don't go near her McLaggen." Jackson warns, as McLaggen scoffs and walks off.

"CUT!"

We now had to get on the brooms and film the flying scenes. We got harnessed onto the brooms and started our flying. These scenes took a long time since we had to perfect the scenes and be safe and all. When we finished, the day was nearly over.

We started on a few smaller scenes once we had done a quick costume change. We managed to get through a few scenes before the day ended.

Emma and I left the set and ended up going to a small café to go on a little surprise date. We got some tea and had a few pastries.

"Are you excited?" Emma asked.

"For what?"

"Your eighteenth birthday! That's coming up!" She exclaimed, and I nodded.

"Yeah. It'll be fun. I don't want anything too big; I'm fine celebrating at the house or on set with you guys." I told her.

We talked a bit more before we ended up going back to the house for the night and going our separate ways. I went to the home gym, which was usually empty, and did a quick workout before taking a shower and going to bed.

The next day we worked on the potions class scenes where Harry gets the half blood prince's book.

"ACTION!"

"Harry m'boy! I was beginning to worry! And I see we've brought someone with us..."

"Ron Weasley, sir. But I'm dead awful at Potions, a menace actually, so I probably should just be going..." Ron starts, getting cut off.

"Nonsense, we'll sort you out. Any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine."

"Yeah Ron, come join potions!" Jackson exclaims, glancing at Paige, knowing of her crush.

"Right then, books out..."

"Um, sorry, sir, but I haven't got my book yet -- nor's Ron. You see –" Harry starts.

"Not to worry. You can get what you need from the cupboard."

The two boys go to get their books while Slughorn shows off some potions.

"Now, as I was saying, I've prepared a few concoctions this morning. Any ideas what these might be? Yes, Miss...?"

"Granger, sir. That one there is Veritaserum. And that would be Polyjuice Potion. And that... is Amortentia! The most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person, according to what attracts them. For example, I smell vanilla and new parchment and broom polish." Hermione states, glancing at Jackson. He smiles at her, and she does the same.

"CUT!"

We finished up that scene and went onto the ones with Harry and Dumbledore. They were filming the scene where Dumbledore tells Harry about the memory he needs to get from Slughorn.

Emma was off somewhere but I don't know where she went. Shay, Sophie and Rupert were also gone, but they came back from the lead makeup artists office after a few minutes.

Soon enough, I noticed people were coming in and out of that room. I don't know what they were doing, but I was too tired to go figure it out.

Once Emma came back we just watched Dan film his scenes. We took a selfie with Chris before he went back to directing the scene. Eventually ended for the day and we all went back to the house.
