Chapter 54: Poison

2nd Person POV

"Which one's yours?" Natasha asked as she spotted a multitude of motorbikes all parked up.

"Black. Brown seat." Yelena told her. You just drove alongside them as they ran, using the fact you could manifest your bike as an advantage. The two moved to one side of the bike and you watched the panic in Yelena's eyes as she couldn't find her keys, only to see Natasha spin them in her hand and decide she was driving.

"Cука." Yelena scoffed. Suddenly a car came flying down the road to the right, crashing away behind a building.

"Would you ladies care to hurry up?" You clapped your hands together in a rush. An armoured vehicle had roared around the corner, getting trapped against the concrete just long enough for Yelena to jump on the bike and Natasha to drive out of there with you at the front.

It was a tight alley, and it didn't give any room for mistakes. The three of you blazed down the road with the vehicle just behind.

"Take a right up here. They won't be able to follow you through the gap." Ultron said, making you manifest the glasses he had told you implement the scouter features into. They looked like any normal prescription glasses, but gave feedback such as Ultron drawing directions to the turning.

"Nat, follow me!" You shouted to her, twisting your motorcycle sliding down into an even narrower pathway and driving down it. Nat and Yelena got around just in time as the armoured vehicle blew past the turn and smashed through a van.

After exiting the path, it was back onto a proper road. You slid between two cars, reaching the correct side of the road with the girls behind you.

"We don't exactly have anywhere to hide, y'know." You slowed down to drive alongside Natasha.

"That's not technically true." Natasha replied. What brilliant plan was she going to think of? The sound of another approaching motorbike made you look back. Great, another Widow was catching up with you.

"The tram." Yelena motioned to an oncoming tram on the left. You and Natasha took the turn, driving along the tram tracks and making it past just in time as the tram stopped the other Widow from following.

Unluckily, there wasn't much room to slow down, which meant Natasha crashed into the barrier and went straight over it (along with Yelena) while you jumped off your own and landed on the highway with a short slide.

A man got out of his car, checking on Yelena who immediately pulled her gun on him, scaring him away. She huffed, walking around and climbing into the car.

"You can't just steal a guy's car." Natasha told her. You walked past, opening the rear door and climbing in as Natasha then looked at you with the same expression.

"I don't think the window of un-stealing is still open." You said, shutting the door as Yelena slid into the passenger seat and Natasha got into the driver's seat. The sound of the same motorcycle nearing made Nat panic and back up into another car.

"Okay. Any time now." Yelena said.

"You don't get extra points for hitting more cars." You added.

"Would you two shut up?" Natasha growled. Bullets rained down through the windows, giving Natasha a much bigger reason to finally accelerate out and around the other cars.
