(Y/N)'s POV

Since my comms could connect to pretty much any other communicator, I got to listen to half of Melina's plan. Get to the engine, place the Red Room into a landing sequence. And honestly, I thought that was good idea. I thought it was a good idea up until I felt the entire ship shake. That wasn't good...

To further my nervousness was the sudden blaring of alarms and lights. What the fuck did they do?

"Can I get some good news, please?" I asked, pausing midway through impaling a guard with a dagger. I spun around, slashing a bullet in half from a second guard before tossing the weapon between his eyes and watching him fall.

"Uh. Well, it seems the alarms are going off." Melina stated. Tell me something I didn't know already.

"Oh, yeah? You think?" I narrowed my eyes, rounding the corner.

"Dreykov has activated it manually, but..." Melina trailed off.

"But...?" I trailed off, too. The sound of multiple synced footsteps came thudding down another hall towards me.

"But I kind of... demolished one of the engines. We are going into a controlled crash. You two might wanna hurry up." Melina stated. How in the fuck... How does one demolish an engine?

"Fantastic. I'm heading to the widows now." Yelena quickly chimed in. I peeked around the corner, spotting a good... Fuck, I couldn't even count the amount of widows as they stormed down towards me.

"Uh, about that." I began, watching one of the women spot me and raise up her hand. Those shocks gauntlets could stay the fuck away from me. I rolled across the doorway, continuing on the way I was going with the faint footsteps still pounding.

"What do you mean 'about that'?" Yelena questioned. I could hear her pause on her last word, seemingly figuring out for herself that the widows weren't where she expected.

"Well, they're currently following me. I assume they're heading towards Natasha." I stated, sliding around another corner. Three guards were ahead, shouting at me in Russian but I just threw a blade into each of them before running past as they fell down.

Behind them was a set of doors, this time a lot more modern and wooden than the rest. I glanced over my shoulder, seeing the widows turn the same corner as me and start approaching.

I immediately burst into smoke, gliding forward and under the bottom of the doors to the next room. I then flew up and along the ceiling, manifesting and holding myself against the roof.

Below me was Natasha as she was attacking Dreykov, throwing in some digs as she did. Was everyone just deaf and unable to hear the thunderous storming of feet approaching.

"You took my choices and tried to break me." Natasha grabbed one of the weapons on her back. "But you're never gonna do that to anybody again." Just as she took out the weapon, the widows entered,  one of them firing a hook out to grab her.

I wasn't quick enough to stop the initial attack, but as they wrenched Natasha away, I dropped down and cut the wire in half with a knife. I spun the weapon in hand as Natasha rolled onto her side and then to her knees.

Dreykov pushed a drawer into his desk before moving to walk past me. Erm, was this guy stupid, too?

I turned to him and tossed the knife towards his head, seeing him not even flinch as a widow knocked it out of the air with her own blade. Then the smug bastard just continued walking, chuckling as he did.

"You'll die just as her." He glanced back at me before looking to the widows. "Nobody leaves this room until they're dead. Make them suffer." He exited the room. It was only just now coming to my attention that I just corner myself by entering this room.
