Grace Lily Snape is the daughter of Severus Snape and Lily Potter. Lily was married to James, but after she forgave Severus they both had an affair soon after Harry was born. Lily ended up getting pregnant. She couldn't take the risk of James finding out, she gave Snape two options: James and her would raise the child, or Snape could accept raising her. Before the child's birth, Lily and Severus met, Lily promised him if she survived the First Wizarding War she would divorce James and marry Severus.
